Friendly welcome. We used the hotel as a stopover for skiing, perfect location for a short trip to the resort the next day. One family travelling with us arrived very late and still had a friendly and helpful welcome. Breakfast maybe a bit expensive but was a buffet so you could eat as much as you liked! Childrens breakfast was free. -

Right opposite stn, you could hardly miss your train! Convenient bar/cafe even if scruffy/dodgy - ok for male travellers or non fussy females as a small group. Room had everything necessary -
VERY close to Chambery train / bus station.
Rooms have been refurbished somewhat in recent years.
