  We stayed at Mama Shelter - Marseille for 2 nights. The rooms itself were full of light and very clean. It is modern and styled for the minimalist, but you pretty much have all you need. The bar and restaurant downstairs is great - good atmosphere and ambience. Food was nice but a little over priced for what you get.   We stayed in this great apartment on the 4th floor of this building. The building does not have a lift and the circular staircase can be quite tricky with lots of luggage. But once you have reached your apartment it is totally worth it. The 2 downstair bedrooms and bathroom facilities are very clean and comfortable. The best part was the large terrace with views over the Marsei - Very good staff. Very good design. Very good pub parking nearby. Very good Old Port and the fish-market in the early moning.
