The staff were friendly, helpfull and most generous. The hotel was tastefully furnished, in keeping with the beautiful surroundings of Monaco, as was my room. The staff were very helpful and obliging and it was clean but full of character which was exactly what I wanted. Also the location was perfect, right in the middle of a busy interesting part of town but a short walk to everything else in Monaco. I loved it.

Great location and less than 10 minutes walk to the Monte Carlo Casino, Hotel du Paris and shops; everything is in walking.
The room was fine and clean and we had a balcony overlooking the street.
If you're driving to the hotel, this can be a bit tricky, recommend a GPS and there isn't really any parking onsite, just street parking. -

We liked the originality of the hotel which is more like a B&B. It is basic, but clean and nicely situated. Lovely views from most of the rooms. Breakfast was fine and ample. Normandy is not a hotel for everyone, or for all occations, but I simply loved my small week there mostly due to the friendlyness of the owner, breakfast staff and fellow guests creating an atmosphere where you feel more like in a home away from home, where interaction with other guests feels natural.
