  We only stayed one night so didn't really get to see much of Pornic.. The hotel is beautiful. Wonderful well kept gardens out the front. We had a 1st floor room with small balcony overlooking these gardens and also with a view of the sea. Only a short stroll down to the sandy beach below the cliffs. We also took breakfast and there was a great selection of bread/cakes and other .goodies. - The staff at the Auberge are extremely helpful and went out of their way to arrange a taxi for me late at night. The inn with roses growing all over and farm animals in pastures out back and the ocean in the distance was very relaxing and beautiful (note: it was a bit far to walk to town). Bikes, walking paths, spectacular gardens. Eco-friendly with delicious, organic foods mostly produced on site.

  Stay for two nights and enjoyed the hotel and the resort.I Booked a disability room for my Mother which was very good, and a double for myself which with small courtyard was more than comfortable. Very good food in the restaurant. - Hotel brilliantly situated overlooking the sea, in a lovely old fashioned French resort. Staff were lovely and friendly and the food was delicious with traditional french cooking. Had a wonderful meal as the sun set over the bay. Excellent shower unit, beds comfortable.
