Our host Francis was brilliant! Very welcoming! Rooms were done out in a rustic way and we had everything we needed. The homemade freshly prepared traditional French petit dejeuner was exquisite! Have already recommended and would come again!

Secure parking; garden surrounding the hotel, which was being tended by the owner and made us feel that someone was making an effort and took pride in the place.Easy to find location on a trading estate which worried us initially, but found it was not too bad. -

For a two star hotel this was much better than we expected. The owner was friendly and spoke very good English. The facilities were basic, blanket on bed instead of duvet, but very clean. TV, shower, hair dryer, and most important private parking. My advice is to pay the extra for breakfast, you won't be disappointed, it was better than one we had

We took advice from this website and did not book a hotel in the town due to parking problems. This hotel is just across the river - a five minute walk to the town centre and with a great view of the castle on the way. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
There is a lift up to the chateau from the town - the site is well worth a visit.
