  Fantastic location, a stone,s throw from the cathedral and the old town of Chartres. Very helpful map sent beforehand by the hotel with info for where to park to drop off luggage. Free car park pass from the hotel for the underground car park which was a five minute walk away. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Also the little train which goes around the old town is a good way to see the lights on the other buildings aro - The location right next to the Cathedral is wonderful and this puts you in the best place for exploring Chartres. The breakfast was fabulous. The manageress/owner was lovely and really helpful. The parking (included in the room rate) in a nearby public car park is easily arranged with the hotel. The room Les Anges was beautiful - very romantic, with views to the front and rear of the hotel, a screened-off sitting area and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath. We will definitely return.

  Wonderful staff, beautiful room, lovely building. We got trapped at an exit from the motorway, and showed up rather late. The proprietor welcomed us warmly, and pointed us to a place where we could still get a bite to eat. We chose it because we were visiting the Cathedral and it was close.
