We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! the suite was great, a good size and the huge bath tub and wet room were lovely. the hotel gardens are very classy and the location next to the entrance to the walled city was perfect to stroll to. The car park is secure which was important to us. -

This is an apartment on the top floor of a large house in central Carcassonne. It is placed perfectly between the best parts of both the old Cite and the newer Bastide and as such a car is largely superfluous unless you intend to visit the surrounding areas. immersing oneself into the French way of life with everything walkable
