Lo que la gente dice
The absolute separation from the urban hustle and bustle. Singing birds woke us up in the morning and in the evening we enjoyed the smell of flowers and trees.
Our daughter loved the dog of young owner.
Someone can not like a certain untidy building, but it has its own charm. It was as if time stood still 30 years ago.
A separate impression of a large hall and kitchen, where we had breakfast in the old setting and with rarity cutlery.
Special thanks for the local wine that was presented to us b. todo comentarios »
The chateau has a unique character in spite of needing renovation ( a massive job) and is set in a small village which is peaceful. The welcome from Philippe and his family ( and dogs);the rooms are spacious and look out onto the grounds;the breakfast was all home made or local produce; possibility of meeting the family; getting advice where to eat and visit in Burgandy.
A unique and very old French Chateau set in large grounds, it is gradually being restored, although the guest bedrooms have already been updated by the present owners.
An excellent breakfast, large gardens with swimming pool and with a warm welcome from the owners.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the tradition of chambres d'hote. The chateau situated in lovely grounds. Massive comfortable beds - wonderfully fresh linen (great smell!). Super dog-friendly. Wonderful convivial breakfast in the company of other guests.
This was the ultimate in "shabby chic". it was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the grounds beautiful and the family running the hotel very friendly - very quickly made one feel at home. The croissants in the morning were fresh, coffee superb.
We loved everything about it. The setting, the chateau, our warm and friendly host Phillipe, and the interesting fellow guests we met during our stay. It was ideal for our wine tasting trip on route to the Alps, close to Beaune and Dijon as well.
Very comfortable and well-appointed room. Excellent breakfast served in an informal farmhouse manner with other guests. Staff very friendly and welcoming creating a feeling of guests at a family gathering.
A beautiful 17th century chateau in the French countryside not far from Dijon and Beaune. Staff were excellent and rooms were great. Simple but fitting for the style and period.
A great host and a great place to stay. The building is a magnificent 17th century period home. the rooms are simple but comfortable and huge.
A dog, friendly staff, big rooms, beautiful building and territory, fireplace in a dinning room.
beautiful peaceful location friendly staff
great breakfast.
Fabulous old chateux in need of some tender loving care!.
Rather modest breakfast.
Wi-Fi avalable in the lower lobby only.
Terrace and stairs are in need of cleaning.
the grounds and the chateau do need to be more carefully maintained ( but it is a rambling house with a long history).
The TV reception in the rooms needs attention, but we understand this is being attended to.
Evening dining options are some distance away (c.10+k away). It may be worth exploring options before going, although they do have some suggestions - we didn't fare so well.
The breakfast selection was very limited - croissants, bread and jam. A real fire in the working fire place in the room rather than a halogen heater would have added to the ambiance. It was late when we arrived - probably would have provided if asked.
We could only stay one night! country lanes are a bit dark for late night driving but manageable.
We only had one night!.
It was a little bit cold in a room.
No lock/key for bedroom.
Rooms were really cold. The level of shabbyness may not suit everyone!.
