  Lovely pension in a good location for old town. It is possible to walk to the old town / castle in about 15 minutes. Friendly owners who are very helpful. English is spoken. If you are arriving by bus from Cesky Budejovice disembark at Spicak bus stop if you can as it is much closer than the main bus - Really enjoyed our stay. Peter and Daniela were wonderful. They helped us out with restaurant tips and events currently happening in town. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. We plan to return with our son and will definitely stay again at Penzion Onyx.

  We found our room on the third floor to be spacious, clean and fairly quiet (there was some street noise this could be be shut out). There were cooking facilities available. The staff were helpful and the parking good. The WiFi worked well. Breakfast was plentiful but there was not a lot of choice. The restaurant was good value.
