is a short walk to the beach (we enjoyed our coffee there in the
morning...with the sun and the view). If you don't mind a little
walk, you can even get to downtown Opatija. There is a grocery store
down the street. The view from the apartment is absolutely gorgeous.

We stayed at Villa Luppo for a couple of days in August 2013. I can only wish we had more time! Our family had a terrific time. Katia and Ivo are great hosts! Welcoming, very attentive to our needs, always ready to help. We arrived late, it was already dark, they met us nearby and directed us to the apartment. The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. Extremely friendly, helpful and very professional English speaking staff. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection. We were so impressed we stayed on for an additional two days on a half board basis which at 72 Euro was outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

esta algo alejado del pueblo pero al estar en la montaña tiene unas vistas estupendas a la costa y hay dos parking gratis donde poder aparcar si bajas al pueblo.la habitacion muy limpia,nueva y acogedora y el desayuno muy bueno tambien! -

Very clean, rooms are equipped with AC, TV and minibar. It's a family business and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Free wireless is also available - not only in the hotel but mostly all over Lovran. -
Quiet location, yet not far from the town (yes, the walk to the beach/town takes 15-20 minutes but it's enjoyable and everything but dull). Lovely staff. Nice pool and terrace. Comfortable room. Breakfast included. Excellent choice for a combination of a seaside and quiet holiday or break.
