Hotel is situated in short foot walk distance to Century Ave metro station (Exit #12) so all Shanghai is easily reachable by cheap priced metro. Staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks well English. Room is clean, beds were very comfortable and minibar was filled up every day. Really a good place to stay. -

perfect location; in the middle between Old Town and Nanjing Road. Close to Pudong. Many small shops and restaurants of different classes in the neighbourhood... - Cleanliness. Great butler and bell boy service. Reception can be improved if they are a little friendlier. Housekeeping is great.

Inside the hotel it was really modern and the decor was great. It was great value and we felt happy about the place. The staff were fantastic and spoke very good English. They looked after our bags between 8am when we arrived in town till a 2pm check in. It is so close to the bund it isn't funny and only a 5-10min walk to the main metro undergroun

We were amazed by how nice this hotel is. Exterior look is nothing fantastic and alittle disappointing. However, the interior was very nicely and tastefully done up. The restaurant area was extremely nice for a wine at night.

The staff at the hotel were very good to me (father) and my 14 month old daughter who were travelling with my sister for for a few days, than on our own for a few more days. For the most part the facilities were very clean. Lobby and restaurant were very nice. Excellent location. I'd use this hotel again.

The location ot the hotel is very good. Just ten minutes drive to the Financial zone and the Bund.

Well, everything. The room was better than advertised, the staff were
helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a pure treat...mostly
Asian, of course, but there was eggs and toast and oj and stuff
available, too. Delicious. Plus, the location is very, very good...a

The hotel is in a good location close to the walking street and two metro stations.The units are modern,comfortable and well appointed & equipped.The breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of tastes catered for.Metro line 2 is very handy for both shanghai airports and fast intercity trains

Nice hotel with good rooms and good beds. Very good to stay at if you are planning to fly the next morning. The free shutte bus will just take 5 minutes to the airport. In some way you get the feeling that this hotel has an American or European manager. It is the only hotel I have been to in China that is running like a normal western hotel. Effic

Very convenient for Pudong airport transfers. Room was very comfortable and well kitted out with kettle and variety of toiletries. There is a treadmill on site, free and fast Internet, and free shuttle that goes to the airport regularly. Lifts are very quick despite 9 floors of rooms. Doormen are excellent at helping ith cabs if you can't speak Chinese.

Room was huge (approx. 35sqm) and really comfortable, first mini-bar filling included (coke, sprite, beer, water and snacks).

One of the best city hotels I have ever been! Deluxe room is very spacious, light, clean, modern... all positive! Staff is helpful, buffet breakfast is with wide choices of fresh made food! Metro station is 3 minutes walking distance from hotel which is very positive fact in Shanghai! WiFi available... Highly recommended hotel!

This is my first trip to Shanghai. Hotel is in a great location, next to the subway station - making it easy to explore the rest of the city. You don't need to stay on or near Nanjing Road to make your Shanghai experience great.
I was especially impressed by the staff, specifically Paul, at the front desk. I saw him taking "ownership" of a problem with another guest and solved it with a smile. He is a professional and a great asset to Dorsett.
