Excellante! Never met better hosts.Jose,Karen & Monica go above and
beyond for their guests. We feel at least 90% of running a B&B are
the hosts, and these folks are the best. We were also surprised at how
easy it was to travel the whole city and beyond from their location, yet
avoid the noise and confusion of locating in the more touristy parts of
Valpo. The accomadations are very clean and the hosts wonderful.
Combined with a easily accessible location, you cannot beat Casa Henao.

I loved the location on Cerro Bellavista- amongst all the street art and being away from the main tourist hordes. Mother & daughter combination of Patricia and Sarah are warm, friendly and very helpful with suggestions of things to do etc and even recommended places to visit away from Valparaiso. The owners are lovely....very welcoming and helpful. English is spoken. My room with twin beds had a lovely typically Valpo view down a steep ravine and over to the next hill...interesting both night and day. I had good sleeps as this area is quieter than some. The hostal is being renovated and will have a nice eating area with a great view. Do it yourself breakfast and the opportunity for cooking your own lunch or dinner.. Espiritu Santo, almost next door, is an excellent restaurant. Try it.

Oooh I miss that place...I Stayed at the Ramaditas apartment for 11
nights and I absolutely loved it. On my third night there I dreamt that
I bought the apartment!! Very beautiful and it has everything you might
need. I've read some comments here about the eco-friendly shower but
I didn't have any problems with it at all. You really have to take
showers with boiling hot water on full power for more than 15 mins for
the water to start getting colder. The location was great too, easy
access even

claudio was a great host, really knowledgeable and very friendly - challenged our spanish, who'd have thougth we'd be talking about water wars and whaling but he was very patient. it was a friendly place and good to be able to use kitchen at any time. breakfast was good and views from the terrace fabulous. great restaurant opposite which is useful
