Lo que la gente dice
The owner, Norbert, was so nice and very accommodating. He answered any
questions I had and was kind enough to walk me to where the parking
area was. I was late for my check-in and he called me to make sure I
knew how to get in and access the room since he wasn't going to be
on-site anymore.
I stayed in the #39 building (there are two attached buildings). The facilities were VERY clean, which is one of the reasons I chose the Keppner House from the reviews. The room was very cozy. I stayed in r. todo comentarios »
Mr. Norbert is really a nice person and tries to accommodate your needs
gracefully. The place is calm and hardly 5 mints from Sherbourne Subway
that connects to all destinations. Downtown is merely 15 mints from
Subway that cost $ 3.00. Mc Donald, Tim Hortins, Star bucks etc is
through away distance. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone wanting
to stay from 1 night to 15 days.
Norbert is a darling. He's a nice man who, once you check in leaves you alone. The place has free Wi-Fi, A microwave, A mini fridge, Good water pressure a nice shower and nice beds. It's a very simple place. It has comfortable seats and It's not far away from the train stations. Overall a really good place. No bedbugs also. That's a huge positive.
The room was so large and clean with a bay window attractively set up for sitting. Comfortable bed. Good lighting. Manager Norbert was kind and competent.
Central location near a subway stop and places to eat.
The free Laundromat was so welcome as we arrived with no clear clothes. .
Good location easy to walk to 2 nearby subway stations. Mr. Norbert is very helpful. Check in procedures are simple and easy, not time-assuming. Me and my friend really enjoyed our 2 nights here. We'll think about Keppner again for next time in Toronto!.
I loved how clean the room and ensuite bathroom was. Was just after a long flight and it was great to just go in and get a great sleep in comfy and clean surroundings! Norbert - the owner is an absolute gentleman!.
Keppner Guesthouse room was neat and clean. It was excellent value for your dollar compared to what Hotel Chains were asking. My room was spacious and comfortable. It's close to Subway system for travel anywhere.
Excellent location for exploring Younge Street. Cute little room to stay. Great for a single or couple wanting to stay close to things and not spend money.
Staff was very nice.
Great location.
The location was awesome and the room was super clean. The owner was amazingly nice and helpful. The room was charming and really met our needs.
Really clean, easy check in, everything provided (TV, Heater, Blanket). The bed was very comfortable, and the location was amazing for the price.
bloor and sherbourne subway stations nearby. Also walking distance to bloor-yonge; lots of shops around this area...
The street is beautifull and the location very good. Walkable distance to subway and many restaurants at Church St.
A great location for a great price. Norbert was a pleasure to talk to and you're just 2 blocks from the subway.
The room was fairly spacious, cute and clean...I enjoyed my stay at the Keppner Guesthouse.
Very comfortable and easy to find
you can walk from here to lake front Toronto in 45 mins.
Guest-house in a residential block, calm place, owner/manager is a nice servicing person.
My room was great for a solo traveler. Clean, comfortable bed.
Quiet and comfortable. Great location right downtown.
Location, availability of owner, price for area.
The shower
The comfortable bed.
The location is excellent, just in downtown. I believe it is suitable to any one who wants to stay in downtown for a moderate period of time like 2 weeks for example, but it is not a hotel so room service is just once or twice weekly
-Supermarkets, different restaurants including halal ones and shopping areas are just a walking distance.
- close to downtown and all major sights
- clean and well equipped room
- friendly staff.
Good location. Mr. Norbert was very kind....
Location and value fir money was great.
Price is OK in a big city. Location is good.
This isn't a big deal, but the hot and cold direction for the shower
was backwards. Figured it out after a minute of waiting for the water to
turn hot in the "hot" position but didn't happen. Haha!
Like I said, not a big deal at all.
There is nothing specific but I can recommend to clean rooms at least
once in 3 days for people staying longer.
The TV did not have many channels and there were a lack of toiletries.
The steep stairs up.
I honestly didn't dislike a thing!.
Soap was not supplied. Towels + Linen not changed daily compared to Hotels.
Heat couldn't be controlled in one room. Got very hot sometimes.
The rooms have hallow doors to the hall and not solid, so you hear everytime the exterior door slams. The room had a great fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker or property. The no coffee maker was rough.
I never saw any hotel staff I checked in via the phone. This isn't really a thing I didn't like.
I didn't feel cold but not having control of the heat in the room is probably a problem for most of the people. But this would not prevent me from staying there again.
Weak wifi but overall good.
I was charged more than I should have been for 2 adults and a small child and I was told when checking in that my 6 year old was actually not welcome, they only accept children over the age of 12...the gentlemen let us stay but I didn't feel comfortable staying there.
all good.
Bathroom air-vent a bit noisy.
Sometimes heat (radiator) was a but much and windows had to be opened to moderate.
-Room service is once or twice weekly
-It is expensive in my opinion specially that there is no meal option but it is just in downtown
-The room isnot that big
-No phone in the room.
- no heating inside our room so for end of october pretty cold at night.
Poor WiFi signal. The cleanness of the rooms could be better.
Wifi was no very good.
The facilities are not good quality. Room is very small. The blanket was leaving off strange small particles. The tap has mislabeled the hot and cold water.
