Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. - We enjoyed our 3 nights. It is spacious and the beds were comfortable and it sure is a budget friendly.   Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this Lodge is beautifully appointed. One feels both close to nature, while also having luxurious accommodations. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean, I - The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach. Relaxing in the large, supremely comfortable lounge looking out on the beautiful scene ( as the rain poured down!) with endless supplies of coffee or tea was a real treat and a memorable one.   The views! Awesome view of the ocean and the surfers trying to catch the right wave. Huge room with balcony seemed so private and quiet in this fairly busy place. Bathroom behind slats from bedroom, but could see the view from the bath too! I'm sure the first room would have been fine though. Could walk for miles from the beach entrance...just lovely. - Staff: warm, friendly, helpful, engaging...couldn't ask for better. Food in hotel restaurant: amazing! Menu is unique, tantalizing, creative...truly a gourmet delight. The breakfast is perfect! Accommodations: impeccable, clean, quiet, comfortable, luxurious...and we could leave the windows open for fresh sea breeze. Location: remote enough to be unspoiled, close to marvellous trails and beaches.
