Amazing cabins in the woods just outside of Revelstoke. Attached with the KOA. The cabins where up the hill from the campsite in a nice private setting. A full 2 bedroom cabin with full kitchen and living room and bathroom,TV internet. Way better than staying in a hotel in town. You can cook your own food and relax outside by the campfire. Excellent service and info from the KOA manager Sung. Also received a free pass to the Aquatic center in town.
todo comentarios » The chalet we were given had an excellent view of the mountains, it was pretty big and very quiet. The person who gave us our key was extremely helpful and gave us lots of useful information. He even went as far as to give us his mobile number to call him if we needed anything. The owner was incredibly helpful, he made my stay very easy and comfortable. He even rescued me after my stay in the chalet by saving me a room on his property when the highway was closed and everything in town was booked. Thank you!. The staff was so helpful and very nice. The chalet was spacious and suited our needs quite well. It was quiet at night and we felt like we were in a cabin in the woods - which was perfect!. Chalet was very quiet and it was great to have two bedrooms and a living room and kitchenette at a reasonable price. Beds were ok...not high end, but comfortable. I like the location and the peacefulness. I like the leather sofa in the cabin. Secluded. Noise levels were minimal. Only a few minutes from downtown. Reasonable cost for a two bedroom unit. Location, clean , privacy. The location was stunning and the cabin was clean and well-sited. Staff were friendly. Good chalet. There could have been more kitchen utensils as it wasn't too easy to cook dinner with the ones that we had but this was a very minor issue for us. Could be a few more dishes, for those who intend to cook. I suppose one of the reasons you would choose a chalet would be to cook and there were a few items lacking for meal preparation. Some large mixing/salad bowls would be great. A baking sheet & can opener (although the owner was kind enough to roust them up for us!), a kettle, corkscrew, a few luxuries would make the stay!. In winter, you have to phone when you arrive and wait for check-in. There were no soaps (hand, shower) and no condiments (sugar, salt, pepper). No coffee and kitchen chairs a bit uncomfortable. The secondary bed was quite hard. Wish they used the same mattress in both rooms. Dim lighting. Bare minimum for cooking, staff not trained in on-line booking and the rental process for Chalet. The mattress in one of the rooms was very thin, as was the duvet in both.
