  My wife and I were just stopping thru the area and only stayed one night, we would have loved to stay more!!!!! We were greeted by Pierre who was amazingly friendly. It is right on the lake, there is a nice little dock and a bunch of kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat to use. The fishing in the lake is supposed to be pretty good too. We even had a fridge and coffee maker in the room - Only 20 mins drive north of Quebec City. Large, clean room (we stayed in the "Zen" room) with colour therapy jacuzzi tub. Only a few mins drive to nearby microbrew/restaurant Pub Archibald (recommended by our host, and for good reason!), or Siberia Station Spa (hot/cold baths/saunas/hottubs). House itself is right on Lac St Charles, with at least 5 single & double kayaks and canoes to use. Lake was glassy, quiet, and beautiful for paddling, though as it's the water supply for Quebec City,

  Owned and run by a friendly young couple who are gradually turning an old estate home into a fine auberge. Clean and comfortable, old-fashioned in a pleasing way - not brand new and sterile. - It's authenticity, charming, well organized, very discretely, perfect location and above all lovely.
