Pine Lodge Muskoka - Fotos
Lo que la gente dice
Location: short walk to Mary Lake; easy drive to Huntsville and Algonquin Park.We were there in the Fall, easy driving access to unspoiled country and Fall Colours
Staff: friendly, helpful and courteous
Food: professionally prepared and presented; great choices
Cost: Very reasonably and competitively priced
Overall: a hidden gem, check it out.
Enjoyed the friendly, relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Reminds me a bit like a small boutique style Inn. Paul and Connie made us feel right at home. Location is close enough to walk to the beach and you can drive to many places in the Muskoka region. Breakfast was delicious.
Have already recommended to several of my friends!. todo comentarios »
Connie was just lovely. She offered us a free upgrade to help better accommodate us and made us toast and tea even though the kitchen was closed. The only thing I would suggest as far as the room was concerned was to put in some drawers. The newly renovated shower was wonderful.
Loved the country lodge feel. The bed was outstanding,,, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The owners and staff were fantastic as well. Super friendly and entertaining. We had a great little nights getaway. Would definitely recommend to others.
The Inn has a simple but wonderful design : modern/Zen/country and the owners are very friendly and helpful.
The place is very clean, the restaurant offers a small but gourmet menu and nice wine selection.
We have stayed at Pine Lodge in the past but used Bookings dot com for
the first time. We like the location otherwise we wouldn't choose to
stay here as normally stay at more upscale inns/resorts.
Very hospitable hosts, Paul and Connie. Very clean, comfortable rooms.
Bed was very high quality with fine linens. Quality of the food and the
service were very good.
Well cleared up, brand new building, kind staffs, good location.
So good hotel!.
The beds were so comfortable. Staff was very friendly. I would go again.
Very comfortable , clean and the food was excellent. Friendly reception.
Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. I felt at home. Great food.
Location, close to the lake, very helpful staff, nice room, good food.
Enjoyed our stay. The food was very good. Nice room.
The friendliness of our hosts.
Pine Lodge is very quiet and located in a very nice location, if you
just want to get away. Hosts were nice. Room was fair, if a tad noisy
with air conditioner. Bed was good,as Paul tells his guests (play to
your stregnth).
Restaurant was very good, staff very attentive. Good food!!
Fantastic area with a beautiful lake and beach close by. Loved it!!!.
Would have loved to have a little fridge in the room,,, as well as a little kettle or coffee maker.
Nothing.
Confusion upon check-in and after between owners and brother as to
what was paid on deposit, what was still owing and how long we were
staying. Lack of organization internally led to us being emailed for
more money as if we skipped out on bill. Internal system other than
scrawled notes on a pad and better communication between
owners/staffwould be a start.
Unfortunately, the a/c was not working during our stay, but this was
only a minor inconvenience.
I had an enjoyable weekend. it was good.
The waitresse was not happy with her tip (gave her 10%) so she came and
basically asked for more explaining that in Ontario 15% is the minimum.
That if she did not get 15% her boss would think that she did not give a
good service. I think that at the price they charge they could supply
some muffins, bagel or something to eat in the morning, coffee and tea
was available but nothing to eat. Only one store in that little village
not much for early morning.
The bed was too soft for me, but my wife slept like a baby.
Restaurant a little pricey, but very good food.
On a rainy day, not much to watch on tv, so bring your book :).
The smell of cleaning products was very strong when we first entered the room. No a/c - fan only.
The door to our room was sticky to open and close.
Lack of breakfast. For the price, something should have been provided.
We entered dining area around 9 A.M. to see one pretty sad looking
muffin (not enough for two guests). The coffee was cold, and sadly, the
host didn't really seem to want to go and ensure that paying guests
were taken care of. That's not to say they weren't courteous.
They are. They provided us with a wealth of information the evening
prior about dining in town(s) over.
Rooms were clean and well kept but lacked a few things to make them cosier. No curtains, just pull down blinds. No coffee maker, no phones, no tissues in bathroom. Just small items but for some travellers it would make a difference.
