  I would highly recommend this B&B. Marlis, who owns and runs the B&B, is a treasure and a very welcoming hostess. She is friendly, helpful and kind. She serves the most delicious breakfasts, eggs, fruit, muffins, delicious tomato sauces. Much of the food was purchased fresh from the local market and some was even grown in the backyard. I have visited many B&Bs in Canada since the late - Marlis the owner was very helpful in recommending restaurants, telling us about local activities that were occurring that weekend and made us a custom gourmet breakfast. As well, I enjoyed the location - within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and the lakefront.

  The hotel is well located close to shopping areas and restaurants. Parking was complimentary and adequate. The staff were courteous and very helpful. They made our one week stay a pleasure. The rooms were clean and we really liked the fact that there was a refrigerator and microwave oven to store and warm food. The AC worked well and made the room comfort - The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I needed a bath chair and raised toilet for my elderly mother and they were delivered promptly on our arrival. Also the were super with me allowing my dog to stay! Our room was at the end of the hall and I loved that we could just leave the do not disturb on the door if he was there and we were out. I also felt very comfortable that had there been any trouble or he had been distressed that I would've been called immediately.

  Excellent location. Nice and quiet. Lovely breakfast. Loved those cookies at check in after an awful icy drive!! Perfect to relax.   Location on the river with easy walk into town. Very comfortable beds and quiet in the evening. - Location was good. Nice for walking on the waterfront or enjoying a drink on the patio.
