  Friendly hosts. The impromptu bagpipe recitals both nights we were there: the stirring sound echoing across the meadows! The spectacular views of Mt Robson across the meadows of wildflowers. The kitchen facilities allowed us to prepare home-cooked meals - something we had been missing in our 4 weeks of travel.   The ranch was incredible! I couldn't have asked for anything better. Beautiful, old log cabins in a dreamy mountain ranch setting. There were beavers in the back field, owls at night and a bear snacking on the crab apple tree outside our bedroom window at dawn. So relaxing, so serene. I hope I can make it back here every year! The ranch is deep in the mountains and sometimes it's tough for them to get to town for - We enjoyed the location, the rustic country environment, the owners/operators were extremely friendly and the constant open view of Mount Robson! Once you wrap your mind around this not being the Hilton Hotel and just sit on the deck of your cabin to let the atmosphere surround you, then the gorgeous setting and "Forest Therapy" sink in. A wonderful vacation.
