A 3-floor hotel in the Downtown, just two blocks from the Skyline,
within a walking distance to pretty everything in the centre. As many
others have mentioned, construction works are going on on the two sides
of the hotel but I did not find them extremely noisy or disturbing. I

Location, Location, Location to downtown Vancouver, near Skytrains. Price is reasonable for a "boutique" hotel, given very convenient downtown location. The wifi is good, and password is not device limited (an otherwise pain at some other hotels which require you to ask for separate passwords for cell, laptop, tablet, ,,, and limit you to two). You should bring multiple plug extension with you.
Breakfast lady is nice.

The rooms were quiet, I didn't hear the folks beside me at all unless they dropped something big. Decent kitchen, very comfortable bed. Balcony has a nice view of the condos and mountains. I had a Do Not Disturb sign at my door so they called to see if it was okay to do housekeeping instead of knocking. That was very nice.

Having the little kitchen was great as was having a dining table to spread out our maps etc and to eat at! The staff were friendly and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and soaps etc. There was a good supply of tea and coffee and you could top it up from reception where there was also a free coffee machine - great when you come in from a long day sightseeing. The locatin is ideal with the lovely Stanley Park within walking distance and the beach of English Bay we could watch the ship

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buchan Hotel. It is small, quaint
and well kept. It's close proximity to Stanley Park was what
initially caught our eye and we weren't disappointed. The staff was
most accommodating...allowing us to check in early...(we had a very
tired child with us) It is exactly as advertised...it's not your high-
end, corporate hotel...so it suited us perfectly!! Some tranquility in
the city! Thank all of you at the Buchan for a wonderful stay!!

The staff was outstanding. When we arrived it was warm for Vancouver. We decided to cancel our reservation and get a room with A/C. The manager was very understanding and offered us a larger room with more windows for the same price.
We are so glad we stayed. The rooms are clean, and have everything we needed.

Sam at the front desk was wonderful! Smiling, calm and attentive. Upgraded us to a lovely, large room with plenty of windows. Admitted that parking was a challenge, and then found us a nice little spot on the grass. Kindly thought of restaurants we might like after asking our preferences. We never moved our car...walked to Stanley Park, all ends of the city, and finally at the restaurants close to the hotel. Lovely!

especially van at the front desk, made me decide to stay. They showed us

I liked basically everything about the Patricia. It is so close to
downtown and Chinatown, there is great coffee and food to be found in
and around the inn. The rooms were great!! Great views and the staff
were lovely. Some people feel a little uncomfortable about the location,
but my 5 year old and I didn't feel worried once. The people on the
streets are just doing their thing, no need to worry about them. I will
absolutely go there again when I'm next in vancouver.
