We couldn't have had a more comfortable stay. First we were upgraded to a larger room with kitchen and bathroom for disabled guests.
Super clean and inviting.
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the continental breakfast was adequate although rather pre-packaged, which surprised me since it is a very eco-friendly hotel in every other aspect. -

Our air conditioning stopped working and without question, Patrick, the desk clerk was at our room to see what he could do for us. It required maintenance so he had keys to the suit next to ours in hand and moved us immediately. We were most impressed and thankful.

Paul at the front desk was very friendly. Very personable, asked how our stay was, related to us well by saying he'd been to our home town etc. He was very friendly to a young boy asking a question at the front desk. The housekeeping lady was very friendly (I didn't catch her name)

the breakfast included was a treat having yogurt and fruit available
the outdoor pool on the hot days we were there was great
being so close to the mission creek bike trail was awesome
the staff seemed to really care about the place and were trying hard to keep it well kept even though it is quite old -

we liked being in the tower - the room and the hallways were clean and bright. The bar, restaurant and Denny's were conveniently located. -
Even though we showed up early to check in, our room was ready and we were very well received. The room was very nice.
