Great location right off the highway on route to cape Breton and just outside Antigonish. Wonderful hosts, Ruth and Albert were very accommodating and Ruth made a delicious and filling breakfast in the morning. Very comfortable, cosy and clean home.
Thanks so much for carpenter's Mrs. B&B. We were tired after our boat ride and the inn was in great location. Carpenter and Mrs. provided great homestyle accommodation and the most awesome breakfast ever.todo comentarios »
Very nice B&B, lovely couple, great breakfast and nice cozy rooms. You will feel at home, like visiting your grandparents ( or the ones you wish you had)! Perfect for a stopover to visit Cape Breton.
Ruth was a very welcoming hostess who went out of her way to provide a great breakfast, following our special diets. Nice to chat with she & Albert over breakfast.

Very warm welcome, a lot of hints according the wild animals in Cape Breton NP and the best breakfast during our three weeks in Canada.

The room was hot with no air conditioning.
Just two suggestions for improvements: 1.Perhaps a small night lite in the bedroom & to light the hallway at night. 2. More specific driving directions - perhaps mention proximity to "Mother Webb's Steak House" .
I didn't like that we had to share the bathroom-we managed but that was a negative for me.We only had to share 2 nights, but it was off putting to me but we had committed and I "survived".It went well over all.
Position of the house, on the Trans Canadian Highway.
Lack of driving directions, poor signage.
location - was on a highway; when new highway is complete, won't be as busy.
