  A friendly welcome on arrival with tea and cake. A very clean, comfortable and attractively furnished room. An excellent selection of food for breakfast, some of which is locally sourced. We stayed two nights and the breakfast selection was different on day 2; a pleasant surprise. Conveniently situated for visiting Ypres and WWI sites. - Wonderful bed, lovely room. It was a pleasure to return there each night. A lot of attention to detail, like nice German (not Chinese) bath gel and soap. Good breakfast, with a little something special each day, eg Belgian strawberries or egg cooked to order. They even picked me up at the Ieper station when I arrived late, and let me use a bike to get to the station the other days, an easy 15 minute ride.

  Liz and John made us feel like it was home from home. Very caring especially as I ended up in hospital they were as worried as my daughter and couldn't do enough for us.
