In one word I liked "EVERYTHING...!" Anne and Filip were
fabulous hosts, going above and beyond their duty to make us feel
welcome and relaxed. The layout of the B&B, the fantastic rural
views, the small pond, the bridge, the doves, geese, black swans were

The greeting we received when we arrived was very welcoming - this 'set the scene' for our experience of the hotel. We had hired a car for our exploration of the area, so were very glad that there was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a very easy walk to Menin Gate and to the town itself! We have been traveling around Europe for a month & stayed in many hotels - the Hotel Ariane was one of the best. I was visiting with a friend & my son & stayed in the suite
which was ideal with two rooms. The purpose of our trip was to visit the
ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town
square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after
our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop
& train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the
restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.

Beautiful room, very nice people, very personal service. The hotel looks very small and simple from outside but is very nice inside. Modern, tasteful decor, attention to detail. The location is good as it is in a quiet rural area but close to the motorway. The owners were very welcoming and easy-going. All the food was locally sourced and cooked in-house and was very enjoyable. The building has been very carefully designed by the architect/owner. -

Character building with friendly, helpful staff. The position on Grote Markt is excellent and plenty of warm sunshine meant we could eat and drink on the terrace/pavement tables.
The room was a great size and the bathroom was also a good size.
