  Driving from UK to Germany, Steenhove B&B is located 3 minutes from motorway. Building itself is wonderful, a converted mushroom factory with barrel vaulted ceilings.   The landlady was very kind to wait for me late in the evening on Saturday. The hotel is a masterpiece, I felt like being back in the past with all this old-fashioned furniture, paintings on the walls. Clean, warm and comfortable room. Angelique respected our request for a large firm bed and was kind enough to change our room after the first night. Good breakfast selection. Close to motorway connections and plenty of space to park. Nice bar/restaurant within walking distance.

  This was a business trip, so I wanted an easy morning drive to the Doel industrial estate instead of coping with Antwerp city traffic.
