The most cozy place I have been for ages! Central location in Mechelen (only two train stations from Brussels), still quite as rooms are positioned in a backyard, very nice people, beautiful decorated place with large rooms and luxurious breakfast. -

This place is outstanding. It is not a B&B, it is a luxury hotel at an incredible price. We booked a room with the bath. It was jaw dropping amazing. Elke is the perfect host, who has taken great pride in creating this establishment, and it really shows. The main attractions are a short, but manageable walk away. -

This is the second time I have been to De Joker. I stayed in a different room this time. A beautifully presented stand alone studio with a separate/private entrance. Kitchen, small dining table, seating area, TV, comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom.

Owners was friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice and introduction.
We stayed in the suite with balcony and it was a neat, romantic, large, duplex room.
Room has its own kitchenette and it was nice making our own dinner.
Not much to see in this area but it was a base for us for Brussels and Antwerp so it was OK.

We are aged 28-33 and stayed here for the Reggae Geel festival in August 2014 as we did not want to camp.
Hotel was great location 5min walk from Geel station.
Katleen the manager is very accommodating and really helpful.
Lovely rooms, reclining beds, clean throughout.
Would recommend to all travellers. -

needs. I had come to work on a book with a colleague who lives in
Antwerp and they arranged for her to have an extra key, which is just
one example of their accommodating nature. Much appreciated. -

La verdad es que me pareció un hotel increible para la relación calidad-precio que tiene.Posee un restaurante de primer orden, las habitaciones son sobrias pero tienen todo de una calidad estupenda,cama, ducha,cuarto de baño,etc. En fin, de 10. Punto y aparte la familia propietaria del hotel. Nos trataron con una amabilidad y un cariño excepcional.
