Offering panoramic views of the Danube River, Landhotel Falkner enjoys a scenic and very quiet location on a ridge high above the river. Family-run for 5 generations, the hotel is the former hunting lodge of Marsbach Castle. The attached golf school is one of only a few PGA of Austria-accredited schools in Austria. This guarantees the highest quality and international recognition of proficiency certificates and handicap improvement. A wide range of golf lessons is offered, and 7 different golf courses are reachable within a 45-minute drive. You can play tennis and ride on horseback nearby. The Danube Bicycle Trail is in the immediate vicinity. Nearby Marsbach Castle originates from the 11th century and was later redesigned in a Renaissance style.

We had a great two days at the Landhotel. The owners and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and they provided excellent service. This is a beautifull location on the top of the hill looking down the Danube. Very nice restaurant, library and launge, old time charme. We had delicious dinners on the terrace. The food is very good and we had good Austrian wines. Breakfasts were also really nice. Great place, I would love to come back.
