The service was friendly and efficient. The rooms were very comfortable and warm. The location was excellent particularly because it rained and everything was within easy walking distance. We were very happy with the recommendations for places to eat.
Room was excellent and Peter, the owner was very friendly and helpful, giving me places to go and see (Griffin Island walk is recommended), and sorted out my booking at my next motel. Centrally located.todo comentarios »
Excellent motel - exactly what it says on the tin: very well located, really friendly staff, nice little garden, rooms very adequately equipped, very efficient organisation. GREAT!!.

A standard motel room which was adequate for our requirements. Clean, tidy and everything worked ok.

There was nothing we didn't like. It was entirely up to expectations.
Parking difficult.
Lack of air conditioning as the weather was quite warm overnight - wouldn't have been able to sleep properly without the fan. Cracked wash basin in the bathroom - it let down the rest of the neat and tidy surroundings.
The WiFi is very weak and almost non existent. Its free but you have to get coupons to use 1 hour at a time.

At 145 AUD for a midweek stay it was overpriced. Especially as this was the 3rd Golden Chain motel we had stayed in this week, and the most we had paid prior to this was 95AUD. I understand that they are all independently owned, but the rooms are all to a similar standard, so hard to justify 50% hike in rates.
