the meals at the hotel was first class &at reasonable prices great friendly staff&guest , rooms were excellent ,nice quiet area , I would recommend your resort to anybody who ask me what my stay was like ,that you for hospitality. I had a garden room which was very clean and comfortable. The facilities in the room were good. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent.
todo comentarios » Love the atmosphere and the fact that the Hotel, which serves great meals, is part of the resort. It is also walking distance to the esplanade. Staff were very friendly, the lake is beautiful. Place was clean. We will be back to stay. Comfortable room, feeding the wildlife,free pizzas on mon nite footy,cheap beer. Good location overlooking lake Good dining room with reasonably priced menu. the ease of everywhere we needed to go and the friendliness of the staff. It was nice and quiet Very clean Very well equipped kitchen Very roomy. it was very handy to shop & only 1 block away from family. The restaurant, staff, position & value for money. great location it has everthing there that you need. Close to beach, shops, clubs. nice bistro meals. Restuarant onsite and most friendly staff.... We stayed there in 2001 and loved it the lake with the wildlife was realy exelant. The food when we stayed this time was good but was alot like PUB food quality was good. Peaceful and relaxing. The lake and water fowl added to the tranquility. Food was very good. The cost of my accommodation was exceptional for a solo traveller. Special offer. Dinner and breakfast included in the price. The manager was lovel and very helpful. Location to Riverheads ferry terminal. Friendly staff. Good central location. The settong. The sunday all you can eat breakfast was amazing, great value for money and a great selection to choose from. It was convienient and priced ok the adjacent tavern means you don't have to drive after drinking. next the pub. The curtains are in need of attention. The fridge needs defrosting. The bed wasn't very comfortable - bit worn. Not enough tea/coffee. I was upgraded however the room was still quite small for 5 people. These are minor things and we will be back to stay if we are ever in Hervey Bay :). Toilet in room was leaking water on floor. Nothing specific. Very suitable for our needs. Tiles in shower are quite slippery when wet. n/a. walking upstairs to room. there was a problem in our toilet (did report it - hopefully it got fixed). No TV remote...asked and was told ok thanks for telling us.... Car park area poorly maintained. Under the beds weren't clean had empty beer bottles etc but generally good. The dirty towel under one of the beds. A bedside lamp did not work and there was no hair dryer. I didn't like the price of drinks.for that reason i would not stay there again.meals were great bar was a rip off. Furnishings in the unit looked a bit tired. The loss of the original resort - shame. The badly maintained roadway to the units, the worn out bed linen, the bedside lamp which didn't work and had a stained shade, and having to get out of bed to turn off the remaining lamp. Also, the sliding door which would challenge a sumo wrestler. But the price more than compensated. The room, bed, etc. Extremely out-dated, with cigarette burns on the carpet, old paint job, etc. Air conditioning not working in one of rooms. Stale smell of cigarette smoke. The smell of the room and mouldy bathroom Air conditioner only just hanging onto life. The condition of the room was poor, there was no doona on the bed and there were ants all through the room. The curtain was also broken so we had to stand on a chair to close it so we could sleep. The shower also leaked so when we got home from our function there was water all over the floor and the bed was soaked. Had to be moved to a different room which wasnt much better. The complex is tired and a bit run down definately not a luxury resort but ok for business. no hot water. - the room smelt of cigarette - difficult for late check in and early check out as staff busy or not present.
