I liked it because it was really convenient and within walking distance of the shops - we were there to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday and we were only two blocks away from the venue. The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and very clean and the price was amazing. We were also able to leave the car there for a few hours after checking out which was great. We thought the room was really comfortable and it was clean. The bed and sheets was super comfy but we used the iron supplied, and it was really bad, it wrecked the shirt we were trying to iron. Other than that little hiccup we loved our stay. Great sized bathroom with BIG shower which was a happy find! The staff were really helpful too.
todo comentarios » Beautifully clean crisp sheets and one of the cleanest motel bathrooms. Also allowed me to leave my car in the car park for a couple of hours after checkout and prior to check in. The bed was very comfortable, I useaully have trouble with beds. It was very handy to have a micro wave. It was a very quite and restfull experience . Thank you. We have stayed here before, and really like the location, so conveint to shopping centre and places to eat , all in easy walking distance. The staff were most helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help. I could not thank them enough for their hospitality. It was good to have a proper shower at last, most have those water savers on them.Location to shops and pubs was very handy. It was great value for money as we only wanted a bed for the night. The location was terrific and free parking was great. Easy to locate, very central to amenities...eatery at premises. Will definately stay again when in Geelong. Location to shopping. Quiet, off street rooms. Restaurant just at front of motel and reasonably priced. We liked the fact that we were in walking distance to everything. The room was comfortable and clean. Beds were good. not much. N/A. The iron was terrible and the restaurant was NEVER open which was sad because we were really looking forward to having breakfast there. We thought the workers were most inconsiderate re the hours and noise of vehicles coming and going throughout the night and early hours of morning felt they could have parked in street so not to disturb folk trying to get some sleep. Door to bathroom needed to be plained off a bit. No downside on this visit. We found the Donna too heavy and hot. The shower was broken and kept sliding down. The staff weren't all that interested when I reported this to them. Nothing. little bit old fashioned. Very basic motel for the price. a little out dated. Parking when full. A live spider on the bed. Hubby killed it, but was a bit worrying. Did not bother to tell reception as it was late. No heater in the bathroom. surprised no reception ar 11 am ! Pancake restauatn not open despte menu/opening schedule update in room. Cold showers. Bathroom very dated, dripping taps that needed a wrench to turn on and off - charges for wi-fi. lots.
