A cosy place with the most amazing spa: Jaccuzzis, hot pool, steamroom, sauna, massage etc., all situated in a forest-like environment. Exellent breakfast. Gonna take my wife there, ALONE. -

what a beautiful house!
I stayed there for 2 days with my wife. The owner was very kind and gave us useful information to do activities in the El Calapate. moreover room is perfect, especially large, clean and gorgeous. also the kichen located in my room was very convinence and useful. we cooked our dishes and had a nice time. -

Best hotel we stayed in during our 2 months in Ar. Modern apt style rooms with lots of space to spread out.
Owners were very friendly & helpful. Their daughter was also very Good with English & booked our tours made lunches and got us to the airport with ease.

La vista es espectacular, el hotel se encuentra a las afueras de la ciudad y desde ese punto se observa maravillosa la ciudad tanto por la mañana como por la noche. Por la distancia a la que se encuentra el hotel cuenta con servicio de de transporte a la ciudad de ida y vuelta, eso es excelente, el personal es muy amable y la comida del restaurant

La atención por parte del personal nos pareció excelente. Para destacar la predisposición para atender nuestras necesidades por parte de Diego, de Recepción.
La habitación que nos asignaron tenía una vista espectacular del Lago Argentino y de la ciudad.

The host was wonderful and very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. She also told us about an excellent restaurant.

The person who received us in the hotel was very nice and helpful. The installations were adequate for the price, the internet was surprisingly fast, and the satellite television offered an enormous number of channels. The location is also very good, close enough to the main strip so everything could be done on foot, but far enough so we wouldn't be bothered by the crowds that fill the city center.

Noa dieron la mejor suite que tenian, con vistas al lago y eraimoresionante. Merece muchisimo la pena este hotel. Tenian un transfermuy a menudo al centro de Calafate, por tanto no importaba estar a lasafueras. Todo el era de diseño y con muy buen gusto. - magnifica vista

We spent 2 nights in El Calafate, wished could have stayed longer to
extend the stay at La Cantera. Service was perfect, Giorgina in
particular made our stay soo easy, smooth and hassle free that made us
happy to be there. Recommendations for excursions were right, breakfast
was very good (ask my gf for the homemade cakes), room big and clean.

Staff were very attentive to our needs, made our lack of language
diversity simple by helping in english, the dinner menu and chef were
amazing and our expectations from other travellers who commended the
chef online were easily met with evidence of his skill. The tours
organised through the hotel were cheaper than those we had researched

This is an excellent 4 star hotel.The location is central to everything yet fairly quiet. Checkin/checkout were very quick, bellman always around and helpful.The breakfast was very good by argentine standards. This property is obviously run by a profesional hotelier. The rooms are large, cozy and very well designed.A spectacular value at the price offered.

The hotel locates at the end of the main street and took me less than 10 minute walk from the hotel to the town centre. Even so, the location did not cause any problem because (1) there were supermarket, small shops, restaurant, fast food stores next to or opposite to the hotel; and (2) all local tours offered hotel pick-up and drop-off services.

Spacious room, big comfortable bed, nice little balcony with lake views, friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast, good common areas, good wifi.
The service was excellent - we accidentally dropped a bottle of white wine on the floor and it smashed and wine went everywhere - they sent someone to clean it up straight away. The reception staff also booked a Minitrek tour of the glacier for us after we tried unsuccessfully to get a response ourselves from the company running the tour (Hielo Aventura)

Very friendly staff , very good atmosphere feels like a home. Very nice to come back after a long day of hiking to a place like that. The rooms are not big, but they are enough. There is a lot of sitting areas in the lobby, cozy. Was fun having coffee on a comfy sofa every day. The location is excellent, everything is nearby, if we ever go back to el calafate this will be our first choice.
