  The room was very clean and had been updated. It was obvious that the owner took pride in keeping the facility well-kept. He had flower boxes on the exterior to give it a more homey and welcoming look. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings in good repair. The location made trips into Monterey very easy.   The Room was a very nice surprise. Very comfortable, clean double queen. Excellent room decor and bathroom. A nice flat panel TV and free WiFi. And Quiet. The staff was great. Thanks.   I loved the view. The beds and the linens were so wonderful, clean and comfortable. The shower was great and a nice flat screen tv. I think the room is pretty sound-proof. Bed and blankets are also comfortable and clean. Its worth the money and the stay was great! Would come back again if I visit Monterey. The location is very closed to Carmel, 17 mile drive.

The pool is a great temperature.

  My wife and 3 kids spent one night to attend a b-day party at Del Monte beach. Couldn't have been more pleased with the price which allowed 4 guests. They said everything was top notch. While viewing the area on google maps, we a noticed a portion of the recreation trail is right next to the hotel.
