Everything. It is a family friendly, family run hotel in a great location in Old SJ. Can walk to everything. It is not hard on the budget. It is not a luxury hotel, so if that is what you are looking for, stay elsewhere. However, it meets your basic travel needs (clean room, good bed, clean shower) and for us it was perfect. Stay there!! -

The hotel was beautiful. Our room was massive. The beds were so comfortable. I love design and color and the rooms were well put together. Fridge in the room, very handy. Really it is a familiar environment. It is close to every important place and the service was very good. Specially the gentleman that was security at night, he always help me to get my parking for disables because my husband is visually impair. No matter at what time I get to the hotel he moved the cars so I can park close to the entrance.

A lovely place to stay. Nicely designed and clean and friendly. Stop looking, you won't find a better hotel for the money. The food was fantastic as well. Close to airport, centrally located for attractions. Don't miss the rain forest just outside of town and car rental is very affordable in San Juan.

The house is lovely with a great terrace for breakfast and relaxing anytime during the day. Nina is a very gracious host who is also a very knowledgeable and helpful concierge. We are vegetarians and she was a big help finding good restaurants. -

I liked the unintentional retro-funky look to the property. It was neat in so many ways....cool pool, restaurant, greenery, etc. The desk personnel were both greate. -
The staff was really nice, the facilities were very nice too, I looked the look and decoration of the place. It's a perfect spot to have a local feel of Puerto Rico.

Only a block from the beach, the location is excellent. It is very clean and picturesque. A spoiled rotten pet cat who greeted all guests completed the "home away from home" treatment.
The swimming pool is beautiful, and the staff could not be friendlier. The room was very comfortable and clean.
I had local friends who visited me tell me that the site is lovely!
Most definitely will return...

The service. We were a family of 8, with our 10 month old grandchild...the staff worked hard to make sure that our stay was comfortable. We had a regular room, a junior suite, and two king suites. We booked this as a pre-cruise hotel stay in Old San Juan so we could be close to the action. We were NOT disappointed! Upon arrival and checking in we were informed that we had been given an upgrade. No idea how that happened, but it was wonderful! It was to the Presidential Suite on the 6th floor and it was simply outstanding! The Hotel Plaza De Armas was the perfect location for exploring Old San Juan! The free trolley stops right at the door and the cruise and ferry docks are an easy walk away. Nice, OLD, OLD hotel in the heart of Old San Juan. Within walking distance to many of the things to see and a fairly short taxi ride to the airport and cruise port for Celebrity Cruises. Other cruise terminals are even closer.
The hotel had no special attractions other than old world charm, good location and GREAT staff. Luis Garzon was especially helpful with directions, restaurants, tour trolleys and using the antiquated elevator -- when it worked. When it broke down, hotel staff was quick

The Beach Guest House is very clean and peaceful. The caretaker is very nice and responsible. The location is perfect for a getaway and right off the strip from small restaurants with Puerto Rican cuisine. I recommend renting the whole house with family and friends its very budget friendly. It was great to stay in an apartment-like room And make our own food ... IF we wanted to. For the most part it was quiet And without the 4-5 star hotel crowds. Our time there was beautiful And memorable as we enjoyed the beach just beyond the pool, jucuzzi And boardwalk. Every Sunday, there's a live band playing traditional music And popular Salsa tunes as well. We'll definately go back! Loved it!

Hotel was extremely budget friendly, very clean, no bugs to be found. Had all the essentials for travelers who don't plan to spend much time in their hotel room other than showering and sleeping. Free wifi and free parking was great. Staff was friendly. -

This is an awesome little gem if you are looking to stay in the ritzy
part of San Juan (Condado Beach). We arrived almost midnight, but the
front desk left us keys to get into the house and the room in a
specified area. The keys came with a note with instructions and contact
information if we needed help, just make sure you call a day or 2 before

Launchy was Very accommodating, had ac prepped for us on arrival. Did
not need it the second day. (After acclimating to temperature) had
private door to balcony and had the ocean air breeze. Coming in. The
Balcony overlooked the sea. And could sit there all day or night long.
Or sleep right on balcony. Smooth Jazz Music could be heard from the
restaurant near by, but ocean waves were louder. Launchy recommended

The owner was very friendly and informative. He waited up until 1am for us to checkin, when our flight was delayed, and always had advice and suggestions on where to go.
He also provided us with space for bikes.
Wifi worked great.
The shower and air con both worked very well.
The beds were comfortable.

Loved the O So Hip vibe of this place. My husband and I had some friends come visit us in the hotel while we were there and the staff was just as nice to them as they were to us. I loved the open courtyard in front of our room where we hung out and enjoyed the air. The breakfast was great and the fresh bread was to die for. The location is spot on

My stay at this hotel was amazing! The staff was wonderful and the decor was to die for. Bewarned though there are no TV's in the rooms! I loved this fact some people may not. The hotel attendant Gabe. was super nice and not to mention pretty.
