We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet. Our room was across from the lifts and we never heard them once. Bouquets to Travis for making me the best mai tai cocktails I've ever tasted. -

The rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is fantastic.
Service was excellent - very friendly, polite and attentive (and
continued this way after my stay when I left my sunglasses behind).
Location was great - very picturesque and away from the city centre
(though still accessible via the courtesy shuttle bus). -

The Modern is a fantastic place to stay. This was our second trip there and we loved every minute. We stayed longer this time and still didn't want to leave, The staff are just lovely, the rooms are stunning and well thought out, the views are divine, the interior design is gorgeous, the pool is divine, the other guests are always interesting,r

Super friendly staff-from desk clerks to runners to room service; the
room was modern and tasteful, great for work, and very comfortable and
peaceful; the pools are lovely; room service was great; above all, it is
a beautiful boutique hotel which is much nicer than any surrounding
accommodations and for a better price. I couldn't recommend it any
more highly!

The location is great. Right by the water and in a 'real' part
of the island. Don't take any notice of reviews that say the
neighbourhood is unsafe. It is a working area and there are fishermen
with gear etc. It's real!!
Staff at the resort are very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Good to have the pool, canoes and snorkelling gear available

It was only a 5-10min walk to the Seven Eleven, and Mike’s Hulu Chicken truck and a grocery store where you can also buy alochol and foods. The room had hot plates and a microwave and kitchen. So that was more than fine.
The scenery was just magnificent. The water and beautiful rich green mountains with mist. I loved the fact that it was so far away from Wakiki. (Too busy for me).
My studio room was enormous and my bed was very comfortable.

Excellent service, staff always very friendly and ready to help. The beds were very comfortable, the balcony and the panorama were excellent. We also booked two excursions (with their partners) at the desk in the lobby, both days were great! And the luggage storage and hospitality room allowed us to conveniently get ready to leave, long after our

The room was quiet, bed comfortable.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was always cleaned well.
The location was very convinent, bus service and walking friendly. The breakfast were good (coffee excellent). The lobby was very nice for having coffee and reading the AM paper. Again it was nice and quiet with wee view of ocean, Diamond head and city. Could leave the sliding door open all night.

Free shuttle to and from airport is great. Our room was neat and clean
and the bed was very comfortable. Liked the fact that there was a
laundry room on our floor ( we did one load of wash), and for future
reference noted the microwave, empty refrigerator and coffee maker in
the room. The little store downstairs had a good selection of items,

We stayed for one night before continuing on with our vacation. Loved the size of the hotel, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, nice room, lovely pool area. Enjoyed walking in the area and going to Byron's. We would definately stay here again and will highly recommend it to our friends. We walked thru the Best Western but preferred your hotel, less busy and more personal and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.
