Loved my stay at the Coconut Waikiki! This hotel is such a great deal for Waikiki and the location is perfect - right on the canal so a little quieter than being right on the main strip. Decor looks just like the hotel photos - fresh and modern. Very comfy beds, was sad to leave them. All the reviews about the canal side being noisy are accurate -

I loved the cute decour, the room was well kept and clean. I know that people have made comments about the continental breakfast and so I was prepared for the worst but I honestly thought it was good. There may not be a lot of choice but it got me through the morning. Also considering that there was a kichenette in my room, I could always buy breakfast goods if I wanted more. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I would stay here again. Close to lots of shopping and the beach. Eve

The hotel is extremely beautiful, in an amazing location, perfectly maintained, and the service was impeccable. A friend had recommended staying in the original building. As an appreciator of history and architecture; that was a good call. It's fun people watching and there is great Asian food in the area. -

The Seaside Hotel was perfect for my stay in Waikiki. The room may be
small for some, but the size was fine for me. The pictures are true to
what you get. There are not a whole lot of extra amenities but I was
only there to shower and sleep. The bed was comfortable and thank
goodness for the a/c during the humid week I was there. It's

I am so glad I booked this hotel. After reading up on reviews for other hotels for hours I decided to book with Shoreline. The hotel was in a great central location, so close to the beach and shops, hotel staff were so friendly and pointed us in the right direction for activities / tour outlets that were much cheaper than others. Rooms were big enough for what we paid for and very very clean! I would definitely stay here again if I travel back to Hawaii and recommend it to anyone staying in Hon

It is a historical landmark. Conveniently located. outstanding beach and view.Great for shopping
I particularly love the rocking chair on the balcony and the stores , Martin Mcarthure, Vivien Westwood. -
The hotel was beautiful, loved the history and the rocking chairs on the porch.
We had amazing food in the restaurant.

Concierge was awesome, live music very good, coffee lady was so sweet,
cleaning staff was nice and friendly, bartender and drinks at Mac
24/7 were great. -
We liked the quite room and the hotel service. The MAC/24 served top of the line meals. The view from our 36 floor Ocean View balcony was terrific.

The location is great. Right by the water and in a 'real' part
of the island. Don't take any notice of reviews that say the
neighbourhood is unsafe. It is a working area and there are fishermen
with gear etc. It's real!!
Staff at the resort are very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Good to have the pool, canoes and snorkelling gear available

It was only a 5-10min walk to the Seven Eleven, and Mike’s Hulu Chicken truck and a grocery store where you can also buy alochol and foods. The room had hot plates and a microwave and kitchen. So that was more than fine.
The scenery was just magnificent. The water and beautiful rich green mountains with mist. I loved the fact that it was so far away from Wakiki. (Too busy for me).
My studio room was enormous and my bed was very comfortable.

We were celebrating my father's 70 birthday and the whole family was at the Marriott (10 of us). We had 4 rooms between us at the Marriott. The rooms were so big spacious and partial ocean view was amazing. We had missed our flight leaving Hawaii and needed to check back in (we needed 4 rooms) and the staff (Tania) was amazing extremely helpful

We only had one problem-we did ask them to havea
a look at our fridge as it froze all our contents and it took them a week and a half of our stay to do anything about it. maybe they didn't understand us ,we had to tell them like 4 times until they replaced it.
Everything in fridge had to be thrown out.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic value for money. Such lovely staff. Perfect location to explore Waikiki. Perfectly clean rooms/bathroom. Great cocktails around the pool. Lovely modern, clean design. We will definitely be back! -

Ilima is a gem! The decor is absolutely vintage Hawaiian.... wood, tile, wicker, tropical prints, original local artwork, and pink all over. We had room 1507 and had an amazing view of the canal and mountains. It was perfect to wake up to this every morning, with a very big balcony seating area to have coffee and tea. Studio room was also really big with a full kitchen. Convenient to go jogging along canal and just 3 blocks away from the beach! The location was the best... luxury row, Hya

i liked being close to the shops and the beach - Yes - Waikiki is not really my favourite kind of place, but this hotel was excellent as a place to stop for a night close to the airport (30 mins and 9 dollar transfer on shuttle)
