Handy location for shopping and being near a larger supermarket, with
the kitchnette, we could prepare meals in the room rather than eat out
each night. Rooms were reasonable - nothing flash but definitely value
for money. Free internet was awesome and not included in many other
places we checked out. Staff were friendly, the hotel is good value f

money. Close to decent restaurants which were less touristy because the
hotel is away from the main areas. -
Room was clean and had partial view out to the water. Price was reasonable. Location was within easy walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. Kitchenette was also very handy allowing a night at home cooking.

Location great, and the restaurants and shops on the ground floor were a plus - the Creme Pot is charming and convenient for breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly, went out of their way to be accommodating. Great view of the city from upper floors. -

I was very pleased with this motel. The rooms were clean [very
important], we had a corner room that had 2 ac units, and the there were
multiple electrical outlets for charging our various electronic devices.
Nice view of the Hawaiian mountains. The wifi was also very acceptable.
We walked to the hotel from the airport [only about a 25 minute walk

loved the three-way mirror in the bathroom - helps when drying hair.

Kuhio Banyan is right in the middle of Waikiki just two blocks from fabulous beaches & walking distance to the Honolulu Zoo, restaurants, shops, and superettes. Kindly staff and simple kitchenettes make this an easy place to stay. Can't be guaranteed, but best of all was Hawaii's state bird, the Hawaiian Tern, nesting right beside the 3rd fl

*i loved the room ...looked like we were in Honolulu with the interior (couches, fan...) * nice! size bathroom. love the bed hidden so we could have more room...GREAT idea. your staff is wonderful!

All staff were very friendly and helpful.Location was perfect & close to everything that u need like shopping centers & restaurants. Although the rooms were not beach front but who cares when you are just 10 steps away from the real beach! Highly recommend and would love to stay here again on our next trip.

By far the most economical choice for lodging in Honolulu, made even
better by the fact that Marie actually gave us our last of four nights
free (albeit in a smaller room) after a mixup on the number of nights

The people are very helpful. You can ask for a ride to/from the
airport for $30. You are in the middle of the nature, very quiet.
10/15 min walk to the bus stop which will take you almost anywhere.

I appreciated coffeemaking facilities and microwave, esp. when arriving late at night. Breakfast by the pool was a 'bonus' and saved any concerns re purchasing items for breakfast. It was also a great place in which to meet people. Great location and an easy walk to anywhere in the area. - Facilities, location, cleanliness were top notch.
