  excellent quality of service and materials, windows and bed - the rooms were very nice, comfortable, clean and well appointed, and not small like many NYC hotel rooms - actually quite roomy. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. We dined at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel and the food was excellent - as was the service.   Small quiet hotel, so no queues to check in or out. Great location, close to Central Park, Rockefeller Centre etc,also close to metro line.Friendly, helpful staff. I can recommend this place if you need a place to sleep. No more , no less. There's no hanging out in the lobby and meet up with some people, because there is no lobby/bar. The entrance has a counter and the elevator up.

I would stay at the Mave every time I need to stay in Manhattan.
