  I enjoyed everything about the Hotel East Houston. The room was spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Its proximity to the subway and a being on a main route through lower Manhattan via the bus was highly convenient. The breakfast was better than expected - very fresh quality with lots of selection.   The neighborhood is very interesting with lots of good restaurants serving nice meals at interesting prices (Stella Maris, Il brigante, MarkJoseph steakhouse, Suteishi,...). During our stay we had a quiet room on the 5th floor. The staff was always friendly and willing to help.   This is a lovely hotel. The location is great (within steps of subway), the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. - whenever i needed assistance on great food, where to shop, how to ride the subway the staff especially Julie were so helpful, took the time to show on maps, wrote directions to locations and recommen... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ded high quality locations to eat such as italian restaurant.   Nice medium sized hotel in a good location. This hotel has about 50 rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement. It is about a 5 minute walk from wall street subway station and 5 to 10 minutes from the south street seaport and the Staten island ferry (a great free way to ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » see the statue of liberty). Its worth going for a wander near by as there are quite a few restaurants, coffee shops and delis not to far away. We had - The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the hotel was beautiful. Conveniently located right near the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, it was a short walk to multiple Subway stations, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Pace University, the 9/11 Memorial, and Battery Park. Very clean hotel, exactly as the pictures showed it to be. Spacious room and bathroom, quiet environment. The bed was extremely comfortable.
