I have been staying here at papakea everytime I come to maui for the last 25 years. I love the property and the staff is always nice and helpful. I always feel like I gat my value for my money. -

Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice room. $12 parking right nextdoor, extremely convenient for going to Waikiki beach. One long blockfrom the Duke Kahanmoku statue which is dead center on the beach. GoodMexican restaurant called La Cucaracha along the way that was semi-reasonable. - I like the small size of the hotel which makes it a bit mor

Loved the atmosphere on the grounds with the open-air lobby and tropical landscaping.
The on-site restaurant had excellent food and a view of the pool and ocean. The tiki torch lighting in the evenings with the sound of the conch shell and great entertainer was also very memorable.

We liked how close we were to the beach. I left my sliding glass door open all night so I could hear the ocean. Very soothing. There are a lot of places to stay on Maui, I feel that I stayed in the best location!! Easy to get in and out. Hwy 30 just down the street. The staff made it extremely easy to come and go. They weren't pushy, but available when you needed them.

Aston at Poipukai is not an hotel but an organization that rent different locations. We were at Regency in a wonderful apartment. It was a 3 bedroom apartment with a fully furnished kitchen. It was close to the best beaches and shopping mall. -
we stayed only one night but found this condo very nice. we would stay there again and a longer stay to

The location is beautiful, the hotel is beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful. After arrival they sent us to occupied room, when we returned to front desk, they upgraded us and gave us a voucher for the restaurant. The property is gorgeous! The grounds are spectacular with 7 pools, access to the beach, shops close by, and a decent restaurant on site.
The room was immaculate (I am very picky about cleanliness and use this term sparingly) and very comfortable. I paid rack rate for a one-night's stay, but feel it was worth the price. I wish my stay were longer!

The location is beyond belief. The views are amazing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the entire hotel has a nice easy, non-pretentious vibe that fits authentic Hawaii. We loved the apartment that we were given as it was facing the ocean. The 2 bedroom unit fit our family of 7. We felt at home and the unit provided everything that we needed. We loved that Mahana had the Expedio desk with the helpful Susan Ramos who assisted us in planning our tours. The Mahana is just 5-7 mins walk to the supermarket which is a plus and is just near the shuttle bus stop.

Location was amazing, so close to great beaches, amenities, etc. Gale & Herb are so friendly and warm. Although the unit was compact, it is well planned out with everything you need to enjoy your stay: barbecue, full kitchen, outside dining and more! -

location - great access to the beach, soft sands, and if you walk 10 mins north the snorkeling is great. kitchen area is very handy. renting equipt (snorkel, paddle board) is super easy - go visit the stand right behind Castaway cafe - easy and simple, and Rodrigo is a great instructor. totally recommend them and this place. -

I upgraded online from a studio to 1 bedroom, then asked for another upgrade to an oceanview when we checked in. She found one available, offered it for $40 more, and we spent an amazing night in a gorgeous suite, 20 feet from the crashing waves! It was the highlight of our time in Hawaii. Handy location for shopping and being near a larger supermarket, with
the kitchnette, we could prepare meals in the room rather than eat out
each night. Rooms were reasonable - nothing flash but definitely value
for money. Free internet was awesome and not included in many other
