Do not believe everything you read about this hotel!! I would recommendthis hotel. My stay was very nice. The location is perfect for thebeach, eating, shopping etc. When I arrived at the hotel I was veryupset because my luggage was lost in atl. The staff was very helpful andfriendly. This hotel in Surfside had only been open 5 days, so they had a few kinks to get out of the system. This was more than made up for by the friendly and helpful staff. (one particular woman in registration went out of her way to help)The location is great, the hotel is beautiful, and the weather was perfect..I wish we could have stayed longer! -

I like that each time I arrive, it seems familiar and there is a home-like comfort. A stay for 4 or 5 days can feel like 4 or 5 weeks and I always leave wanting more.
It's always amazing that Alex always remembers me. This year he said "welcome home" when I arrived and it did feel like it.

I was so worried when I read about other reviews of different hotels regarding their cleanliness. I get freaked out about bugs, especially. This room was super clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. - The claridge hotel was very nice and the staff was amazing! They went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. The staff without exception were very good, cheerful and helpful. We had a sea front room with large balcony but the decor was tired and needed up grading. The bathroom needed changing the toilet 1 cm from the door and should be moved to another wall. -

We had a suit and it had everything me and wife wanted, clean bathroom, jacuzzi and ocean view very nice. also every Saturday there's a pool party with live dj. If you want to avoid valet parking witch cost 38$ a day there's public self parking right next to the hotel for 1$ an hour from 8am-6pm after that it's free

I've gotta admit I wasn't sure what to expect. I travel a lot
and stay in many hotel brands. This was really amazing. Very high end
looking, large, quiet rooms. I loved it.
I recently stayed at an Intercontinental and this was MUCH nicer. I felt like I was in an old school Hollywood movie.

The King Ocean View Suites are spectacular in both comfort and style, with unforgettable sunrises over the ocean. Room service breakfast on the balcony is a must!!
Staff at the hotel were all very friendly, in particular the guys on the beach and in the restaurant. Also the parking valets were excellent, with particular mention of German who went out of his way to be helpful.
We will definitely be staying here again!
