The staff were excellent, particularly Beau who provided fantastic service and excellent recommendations. The rooms were brilliant for our family, very luxurious and lots of space, and the location was spot on. This hotel made for a great stay in San Francisco. -
Absolutely everything!! Wonderful place, wonderful staff who see to your every need.

We appreciate their great service and friendly staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable -- great pillows! We and many others enjoyed the wine that was served every evening in the lobby between 5:00 - 6:00 PM. It is a beautiful historic holel with a museum and a great restaurant. - Fantastic location, close to all attractions. Lovely rooms.

Well located in the heart of Fishermans Wharf. Within a stones throw away from cable car choices. We particularly enjoyed the large sized rooms and the "sinking" feeling you get with their beds. Small gym enough for a good run and a bike. They have a small cafe called the Bistro which is amply stocked with food choices. Maria tended our room quite

The location - the street car and cable car and bus stops were all less than 1 block from the hotel.
The staff was very cordial and helpful.
Edward the concierge was knowledgeable and eager to assist.
Lots of great eateries close by.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf was great. We had a clean, tidy room that was serviced daily. We were a block walk away from where our hop on hop off bus departed from. Location was great! Just 5min walk to Pier 39.
A lot safer area to stay than where people from our tour were staying (Union Square area) as there were very few

The location is perfect for those who want to explore San Fran on foot.
Chinatown, Little Italy, Lombard St, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli
Square, and the Marina are all within a 10-15 minute walking distance.
Take bus 49 from outside the hotel and you can take a quick ride
($2/day pass) to go visit the Painted Ladies or Japan Town. There is
great food nearby and tours that go to the bridge and beyond. The hotel
itself is very clean, with nice staff and great pricing for this area.

girlfriend and I stayed for two days and had a great experience. The
staff was friendly, the location was great, room was clean and updated.
We stayed in room 404, which I highly recommend. There was a private

Terrific suite with fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Welcoming
and helpful staff. Convenient parking, although daily charge of $25 plus
tax seemed a little high. Good continental breakfast, with fresh fruit,
pastries, and bagels, bread, preserves etc. Great location for walking
to Fishermans Wharf etc, or the great value bus into the city.

As expected with Marriott hotels, it was clean, the staff very helpful and mattress was very comfortable!
The valet parking was very expensive but worth it to just get out of your car and hand over the keys.
Unfortunately, I lost my car claim ticket. Fortunately, they gave me a newer car when it was returned so that worked out well!

We stayed with 7 mo old in Double room, and it was quiet tiny. There is no much space to place crib - maybe King room is more comfortable in that case. But armchair was great for nursing.
Beside that we liked everything in that hotel, especially location. Location could not be better.

When we arrived, they were unloading brand new mattresses for all the rooms...Nice! It's a newly renovated hotel going for the "boutique" category. I'd say they were a success with that effort. Location cannot be beaten, for access to Fisherman's Wharf (one entrance is right on the wharf), with the tram stop right across from this entrance, car hire a few metres down the road, and the cable car a block away. Staff were helpful, and very reasonable when I needed assistance with arranging a pre-paid reservation. The hotel is clean. Beds ar

The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable-- slept great! Very convenient to wharf and other attractions. Thomas in reception was so helpful on the phone when we were on the way in traffic and trying to find out fastest way to get to hotel and on to pier 33 for our Alcatraz night tour. They also helped us book an airport shuttle for one person in our party.

The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous, nothing was
too much trouble for them. We were booked into one of the King corner
rooms on the 22nd floor and the view over the city and the bay was
superb. The hotel a bus stop that takes you directly to Fisherman's
wharf or in the other direction is the terminus for the cable car.

Great rooms with a nice view from the 23rd floor. Excellent staff, courteous, and friendly. We were able to walk daily and to have close access to the bus line. Around the corner multiple restaurants for late suppers. Highly recommended. Was there with my wife and 4 older children.
