  The grounds were really nice, with a beautiful view of the ocean, not good for swimming but very nice stretch of coast. A great deal for the money, very relaxing and laid back. A slice of old Hawaii that is fast disappearing. The condo itself was very well appointed, with Hawaiian furnishings, even Hawaii plates! The pool was enjoyable. There were several clean gas grills with grilling tools around the property as well as lounge chairs, hammocks, pool and hot tub. Great restaurant on site but make reservations at least 48 hours in advance. Gluten free menu was phenomenal.

  Yes, the place is old and run down, but if you're looking for a clean, budget-friendly place, it's fine. Great shower. We got a free upgrade to a room with a king-size bed, so that was very nice. The location is great. Very central and a short walk or drive to many restaurants and beaches. It is waterfront on a nice beach, but most of the units... τι λέει ο κόσμος » do not have direct views of the water. - The location is very good and on the beach which could be dangerous due to high currents but is very nice when the water is calm. The rooms are huge and kept clean. They offer free breakfast (some pastries, bananas, juice, coffee, and tea) which is very convenient to start a busy day on Kauai. We liked our stay in Sands hotel and will definitely go there again.

  It was perfect for our overnight business trip. We held our training right in our suite!! Lots of room. The full kitchen and living room was a PLUS!!
