  The Guy in the office was really nice. And the room was very large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast they provided was hearty and we enjoyed it, which helped to get our day off right. - It was great for the price and the location was perfect. Right on the strand. Would go back. Had wi-fi and was clean, parking spot, close to all the food.

  I'm suffering from severe Post Cayucos Sunset Inn Letdown Syndrome. Symptoms include nightly warm cookie withdrawals, lack of 1 million thread count sheet pains and increase in core body temperature from a return to The Valley. We normally stay in SLO when we visit the Central Coast, but decided to do a quiet beach trip this stay. We w - We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Inn. The staff was attentive and very professional. If we needed anything - from info on restaurants - the Sunset Inn staff would go above and beyond to meet our needs. The facility itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We can't say enough great things about our stay in Cayucos at the Sunset Inn. It is definitely on our list of places to go as frequently as possible. Thank you Sunset Inn staff and management!

  When an issue arose, with a next-door guest smoking continuously, the Manager/Owner allowed us to change rooms to one that was away from the smoker. This was very courteous and kind of him.   Very nice place to stay. We had a room with kitchen and one without that. Was clean on arrival. Beach and pier on walking distance (<20 min). Groceries only 5 min away. - The room was comfortable with a full kitchen. Very conveniently located to restaurants and the small amount of shopping the city provides.
