  Our room was on the first floor in the back and our view was to a garden, beautiful. Being aTuesday we ate at the bar. The group there was very cordial and the bartender extremely helpful with suggestion about the food available. - Our stay at the Virginia Hotel was a great experience.   Hotel Macomber was just darling! We booked last minute & didn't really know what to expect. The room was quaint, yet adorable and romantic. We weren't expecting to see the ocean - as we didn't request a room with a view, but you could see the ocean from our bathroom & bedroom. The staff members were really sweet & helpful! Took about 15 minutes to get to the Cape May Zoo & about 5 minutes - My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The owner was very friendly with my daughter who is special. In my book that means everything to me. The hotel was clean and the staff were very accommodating. It was steps away from the beach.I would recommend staying at the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel has the best food in Cape May. The local wine was good too.

  The location of this inn is ideal...half a block from the beach and 2 blocks from the center of Cape May with cool ocean breezes. The porch and rocking chairs! The beds and towels! All the staff were the same in making sure they were friendly and helpful.
