The staff was friendly and very accommodating to their visitors. The room was immaculate. We especially enjoyed making our own breakfasts in our room. The owner was very professional and also very down to earth.She has a wonderful sense of humor. We had some great laughs together, which is what people look for while on vacation. My sister and I both feel that we made a friend. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at this Inn again in the near future.
όλα τα σχόλια » Heritage inn was a no-frills kind of place, but it had the necessities and was very clean. The price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a little kitchenette in the room, which was useful for us. The location was perfect: right across from the beach and in walking distance to numerous restaurants and a little shopping district. The location was absolutely perfect! We were in town for a Convention being held at The Grand, and it was close enough to be involved and participate at the convention, yet far enough to escape the hussle and chaos of the Convention. And the close distance to the beach was very convenient and we loved that we could see the ocean outside of our room. The staff were absolutely wonderful so helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the fridge in our room but they addressed it right away. The location and parking were also ideal. Right on the boardwalk and just steps from the beach. It's not a luxury hotel but its a clean, convenient, friendly place to stay. The staff was great, the location even better. We never moved our car the entire time we stayed. It was a moderately priced, clean, well run motel. The Hertiage was a family owned facility where the family/owners were on site all the time and more then willing to help or answer any questions. Room was large Owners were friendly and so was their dog we have been going to Cape may for about 5 years together, with no repeats on hotels. This will be a repeat hotel next year!!. We liked the staff.. Very friendly from the time we arrived until our departure. The room and the area of the hotel was perfect. I would come again to this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, price just right. Right on the beach. I like the location of the Heritage Inn. It was so convenient for walking and for shopping. We never moved the car until we checked out. It was our 3rd time here and I would book here again!!!. There is a rooftop deck that hardly anyone uses. Very quiet and relaxing. The pool is clean and cool. The rooms are always clean and comfy with a fridge and coffee maker. Staff is incredibly friendly and invested in guest comfort. The location is the best in Cape May for beach, arcade, easy family meals. Ocean view. Refreshing sunny pool. Staff and service was awesome. Very pleasant. Room was just like it was completely remodeled the day before we got there. Family owned and very proud of what they have. The owners were wonderful. Very nice and accommodating. I was there with a friend and I am afraid we found little to like and we left four days early and there was no refund. No internet access or idea where it could be found. . Location to beach and the memory from the past. Everything was great. The bed wasnt very comfortable. It wasn't pool season yet but the pool was sitting there green and uncovered, which was a little unsightly. nothing. TV was small, but we were not there to watch tv we were out and about! Parking was a bit tricky but manageable. I loved everything. If there was a problem I would have addressed it with the Owner and the staff,I am sure they would take care of any issue as soon as possible. By writing the issues on this feedback it looks bad for the hotel. I would rather have the old fashion way - you have a problem let them know while you are there. Problem solved and a great stay would accur!! Thank you Heritage inn for a great stay:). It would have been nice if paper towels and coffee filters were provided. We had to go out and buy them. We brought DVD's to watch and were surprised not to have a DVD player for movies. Very pleased with The Heritage. I have no complaints. Noisy neighbors in the building next door until the wee hours of the morning, but not much the folks at the Heritage can do about that. If guest don't respect 1car per room or a non guest poaches a Heritage space the parking can be unreliable or chaotic as the owners rectify the situation. I expected a 2 queens but I read the description wrong so that's my fault. The room was a bit musty. We love the victoria theme, beinging older we enjoy the peace & quiet. You get one parking spot. we had two cars. We got lucky and found on street parking that we did not have to pay for but most on street parking you have to pay. No microwave. Pool was very small. No elevator. There was a musty spell when you first entered the room. There is limited parking in front of the inn. It was kind of like really nice motel. Also our door didn't lock, which was unreassuring. Everything was perfect. poll was dirty with algea, would not swim in it. I didn't like the lack of an elevator but I guess most of the hotels in the area did not. We were on the 3rd floor with many steps! Also the king bed was very hard!. the beds. Exterior could use some TLC, pool was absolutly disgusting!. old inn; rooms need some refurbishing. Let's see. We ran out of toilet paper. The tub drained poorly.The coffee was cheap. I opened the packet, and the filter had a tear in it, and it went all over the place--this happened twice. One day,they forgot to restock the coffee,also. No handicap accessibility to upper floors, no telephones in the rooms and the television could be upgraded. It's a 60's hotel (in a 100 yr old building), clean, perfectly located, but ... blah. They were full on our first day- had to stay @ other location. That is with 2 days confirmed reservations. The walls were thin! Very noisey!!. the first night we stayed there the hot water was brokenand they didn't even tell us. Refrigerator did not work. Ice machine locked at night. &Quot;Thin" walls...We could hear other guests easily. Desk person on duty upon our arrival was not very professional. Door lock did not give a feeling of security. Although the room appeared to be clean, it was very musty-smelling. Also the beds weren't too comfy. roof deck was tacky -- exterior was run down---- very small tv-----. Smelled like mildew, had trouble with getting hot water in the shower. Water leaked on floor from shower. Saw ants in room. Towels were like rags. Didn't supply shampoo or a newspaper. Pillows like rocks and bed extremely hard. Not customer friendly. No perks. Not worth the price. It said a great room view of the shore. The view was obstructed. Check in time was 2 pm. 4:45 was ehen we were able to chech in. We asked if there was a place to change to go to to the besch while waiting and told no. The weekend day staff person wasavery rude. On check out I spoke to one of the owners. She said there was nothing they vould do about the issues. We will never stay there again. There are plenty of other hotels on Cape May on the beach. The office was only manned at some times of the day. The beds were too soft for anyone with a tendency to back trouble. There was no phone in the room, no shampoo, no list of emergency numbers. The swimming pool was right on the street with a high fence round it. Parking was behind the hotel a few minutes walk away. The Avondale Hotel a block away offered all these facilities and also access to a laundry room and extremely helpful service. Everything else. Terrible beds no toiletries limited Kleenex and toilet paper. No coffee replacement Leaking air conditioner left me to clean up the water all over the floor.
