The room was very comfortable and had every amenity I needed, including in-room Wi-Fi. Good variety at the continental breakfast. Very close to the airport, but not in a noisy area. Staff very helpful and prompt. Free shuttles to and from LGA airport also a plus!

Very clean hotel with friendly stuff. But personal almost invisible maybe cause we left a room for walking in NYC for all day. We stayed in weekend time and slept very well without any noises from the street. We haven't seen any racing on neighborhood, that mentioned in other travellers reviews. When we arrived we were allowed to check in two hours early, and were given the choice of two different rooms - that was very kind and we got a big room as a result. The location is pretty great as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, but that's the same across New York. A bit expensive, but again, that's just New York. I'd stay there again -

The location! Just two blocks away from Time Square. Unbeatable for this price. Plenty of foodshops around.
The staff: the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful (thanks Joey! ;-) + they can arrange transport to the airport, which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back there on a next trip to NYC.

The location is brilliant indeed - some few steps from the Times Square.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I would like to specially mention
and thank Trinita, who checked me in much earlier that she was supposed
to. It is a perfect choice once you are not going to spend all day long

Wonderful location 5 minutes walk from Times Square. Small but
comfortable and very clean room. Facilities like shower, hair-dryer and
alarm clock worked properly. Air- conditioning and a fan-heater were
provided. Really lovely staff on the front desk - they went to a lot of
trouble working out transport arrangements for us and finding out about
museums we wanted to visit. Simple but nice continental breakfast.

The hotel was very interesting, it had a very vintage feel to it like the studios in foreign movies. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable! I also loved how close it was to everything we planned on doing in Manhattan. The staff was all super friendly and they even had a security buzzer on the entrance which was a plus for me.

yes but prefer a more central location, but can´t beat value for money in NYC. - The price was terrefic. Location not bad, very clean friendly staff. Free wifi on hotel's computer in lobby. Great for checking e mails etc.

The location and the courteous staff! Very comfortable and quiet and clean and you can get the sense of actually living there when you stay in this wonderful historic building. I will always book at the Chelsea Inn whenever I travel to NYC. The location is central to Union Square Station, and only one block over from 5th Avenue. From here, it's easy to get to anywhere in this beautiful City!
