  I loved everything about the hotel. Every member of staff was reallyhelpful and quite lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bookingout time of 12 noon was realistic and breakfast between 7 and 11 wascertainly more civilised than some hotels.   the staff from our arrival were more than helpfull, and went out there way to find us a nice resturant to eat in and made the reservation for us. the hotel and the staff were brilliant! - The location and view from our room was excellent as was the room itself. The staff were friendly and informative and the restaurant and bar were both good.

  Upgrade to top suite, much appreciated. Impeccable, top notch service. Good car parking facilities. Convenient short cab ride into York city centre, also good for racecourse. - Everything.
