In the seaside town of Worthing, The Bay offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Its bistro restaurant has a creative menu of classic dishes and traditional British favourites, and the coast is just 2 minutes’ walk away. Each morning, a continental breakfast is provided in the wooden-floored eating area. The menu for lunch and evening meals changes seasonally, with food made from fresh local ingredients. The traditional pub has a restored wooden bar, an open fire, and a TV that shows live sports. You can relax in comfortable leather arm chairs, and enjoy a range of wines, beers, ciders and real ales. Rooms at The Bay have simple décor, and come with a flat-screen TV, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Each room also has its own bathroom with free toiletries.

I had a wonderful stay, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was in good order. The location is right by the seafront and a stone throw from worthing town centre. The food is excellent, I will certainly be staying again. The staff at The Bay gave a warm welcome,Very clean room ,very quiet. Close to the sea and town centre great location,nice comfortable bar,lovely food in the restaurant , would stay again .

Friendly staff, bed very comfortable, hot water / decent shower and the Karaoke made my night. The proximity to the sea front and local amenities. homely atmosphere in the bar. Not alot!. Location. Nothing. Nothing about it. Not a think. Leaving. Nothing. At present, next to a building site but that should change. Hotel ok but Worthing in general appears to be dying on its feet. (maybe the wrong time of year?). None. none. parking. Music doesn't stop until 11 and shower goes cold very quickly and stops at times. Currently there's builders working on a building site right next to the bay, were you get woken up first thing in the morning by the noise. In need of a renevation. Bathroom was extremely small with shower more like a dribble. the walls are full of mouldew it is disgusting and awful that is the only thing i did not like. Pub open until 2am so very noisey. bit disorganized breakfast was not as advertised. boiling hot room, couldn't turn rad off, noisy neighbours, bed headboard, Room just needs a bit of attention bit of updating. The noise outside. The arguments outside. Creaking passages. The noise no breakfast no one to hand keys back to needed blackout curtains (lights outside) worlds most uncomfortable bed and really needed pillows. The noise from the pub downstairs until late, the dirty base of the mattress, some hair stuck on the toilet tiles, one of the windows did not lock. not being given a code to exit/enter after hours. problematic wifi connection. Room was not heated! Problem with Boiler supposedly fixed but not working in my room.It was very cold and we cold not stay in it. Eventually got another room.manger was not on site.....inexperienced staff left to resolve issues. Attitude was "I am not arguing with you about it"................The shower suddenly stopped working mid shower! Water intermittent and temp difficult to control. Will not be staying again or recommending. Small smelly room. Dirty sheets, odd stain on duvet cover. No water available in the room or anywhere in the building over night. No staff. Late night karaoke / lock in, had about an hours sleep, breakfast served via a take away bag (not received). The actual pub was very tatty, the room sparse and not clean. The breakfast bag was risible.. A toffee muffin (!) and a rotten orange. No- one to discuss with as pub all locked up when I left at 8.15. No hair dryer in room and again, no access to get one in the morning. Then was wet towel on the floor then was no breakfast And 75 pounds. Someboby's tissue left in Bed Paper hanging of wall. Paint work peeling. Cracks in wall. No Comfort at all very disappionted as recommened by Tourist information bureau. when we got there the room wasn't made up. got there at 15:00 hrs got into room at 16:30. The room was cold, wind kept me up most of the night blowing through the windows, also rain coming through. No parking permits.
