The Nook offers budget accommodation set directly opposite Weymouth Beach, on a lively part of The Esplanade. It offers a cocktail bar, and sea views from some rooms. Guests can embrace the night-life Weymouth has to offer as The Nook is just a few minutes’ walk from Weymouth’s lively bars and clubs, and is next door to a popular live music venue “The Lazy Lizard”. Stag and Hen groups are welcome. Guests should expect noise from the cocktail bar and surrounding clubs throughout the night. Located above the bar, each bedroom at The Nook has a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and free tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms face onto the cocktail bar patio, and over Weymouth Beach and the coast. WiFi is available in The Nook cocktail bar, which offers a wide range of custom-made cocktails created by experienced bar tenders. The bar offers a selection of light meals. The Nook is a 5-minute walk from a selection of restaurants, tea rooms and cafés.

i like nook guest house location it is near by beach, market and other restaurant.nice live music. if you are stay front room you can take enjoy with sunrise and sunset. good bedroom, clean. cool environment in side the guest house. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was really nice even though we didn't have a sea view. I enjoyed the nightlife and the cocktails in the bar, will definitely come back to the Nook hotel.

Everything including staff great as an older couple felt as if we fitted in realy well cocktails were fantastic. We arrived very late and was given a drink and taken straight to our room. Staff were friendly and polite. Loved the location and the bed was very comfortable, budget price so didnt expect the ritz ,. Amazing Value for Money .... Clean and tidy ..extra towels .... Room 6 had amazing views.... Location is right in the centre and on the beach. Nice and warm room for Winter :-). loved the cocktail bar at the hotel also the stunning sea view, great location. Really warm room. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Nook as we were in Weymouth for the 3 nights. There're a few nice places around what we wanted visit.There was in a nice location on the seafront and our room which was a small double in the back, was pleasant and clean and the room was soft and comfy. Towels and the bedding were clean. We had a good 2 nights sleep, but friday night we had to listen to the noise from the drunks outside. Room was adequate, nice bed and nice hot showers.You get what you pay for. Reasonable price, clean & nice rooms. Perfect location near the beach and city centre. Clean, staff very friendly and accomidating. Sea front view was beautiful. The room was nice and comfortable an bar was nice with friendly staff. It was right on.the sea front.bedding was clean and fresh. Cheap. Plus nice view if you are at the front. Thank goodness it was only one night. people are to much croud .down floor is bar but no limitation for drink . to much noise i cant sleep whole night. staff are not friendly. The parking in Weymouth is bad, we had to pay for overnight parking. The room Looked a little tired round the edges but for the cost of room it was fine. family room at the front of guest house to close to the noise be better situated at the back. wife not welcoming. Nothing. The noise, but we were told about it at the time of booking.But I would defo book the Nook again. Wasnt spotlessly clean, an the heating wasnt put on so cold at nite. The stairs at 2am ...seemed like a long climb... of course it could have been the wine at dinner !. Location is right in the centre which is full of people out drinking on a Saturday night. Consider out of the centre if you are a light sleeper. no car parking facillities at the hotel. There was a street light directly outside our room window , which stayed on until around 2 30 am!. being woke up late/early morning with the emptying of the bottles into the glass bin that was the only noise that was not appreciated at that hour. the club next door even on a monday night is open til 6am with loud music and drunken arguements going on all the time ...11pm til 6am every night!!!. The stair way needs updating and cleaned. The noise from the bar below (although this was mentioned on the website, so it was no surprise!). We went to check in Saturday for 2 days and they said sorry no room as they said they booked us in Sunday an Monday so we had to find a b/b for sat night which set us back £70 which not happy about. The major issue is that very noisy certain times of the week due to night club revellers. It was to far to car park. Bit noisy at night, but we stayed out late anyway so didn't lose out on any sleep over it!. Bathroom had a bit of mold growing in the corner above the shower.There was no allocated parking available so we had to pay for parking for the£ days which £3 overnight and £2.50 for an hour.We spent a lot of money for carpark.We had to wait for check out few hours, because there's no reception and bar wasn't opened in the morning. Rooms above pub, no reception, confused to check in and check out. I left the keys in the box as no one available to talk to. Also crowd & noise over night, although we did not hear the loud music but the sound of broken glass going into container in the middle of the night was terriffying. Very small, and above the pub and was very noisy until wee hours of the morning. Not much rest. Parking was a bit awkward . No parking.the noise was reslly bsd at night.the carpets were dirty.needed a good hover.mold in the bathroom.we reported the tv broken and was told someone would come up.but never did so had no tv.the blinds were broken.but the bed was very nice. Bring ear plugs!!!. the room was cramped and the room was not serviced during the stay. near to local night club with noise till early hours of the morning ,. noise, no parking, no food. The party on the street late on near the night club. Cold shower entrance was rough looking Plus when booked on line it said breakfast was a extra £7 per person which is fine but once there they said they dont do breakfast and parking cost me a extra £16 as no where to park ... so overall very unhappy and wouldnt go back there again ... A DISGRACE for a hotel . view of a brick wall through window which was held open with a block of wood. Noise was absolutely horrendous until 6.00am. Very basic. Room smelt stale and damp. Soundproofing non existent, people could be heard talking in the street below all night. The hotel was situated next to the lazy lizard who despite having two customers insisted on blaring ridiculously loud music late into the night! On a Wednesday!. Very tiny room for the value. wouldn't have minded so much as venue was good but the shower was just a dribble. Could do with new carpets. Floor wasn't clean, the bed was broken and uncomfy the room had a funny smell to it, I could go on. It was smelly, dirty and the blinds were broken. room size poor decor room like a box room but with ensuite and only access to one side of the bed. rooms were unclean,had to clean bathroom ourselfs,everything dirty ie carpets blinds windows accom entrance really poor. No long term parking at or near the hotel. Will not be returning to Weymouth. The lights above the bed didn't work, view from the side window was just a wall, room needed re-painting, remote didn't work for the television, the staff did't help showed us room that was it, didn't seem very friendly, all moldy above the shower, wasn't no parking. basic room old window could not shut not double glazed so therefore heard all the people going home from nightclub very noisy in early hours of sunday and as we had gone away to escape noisy grandchildren staying with us it was no break!. Old and run down. Bed had no spring left in it. Next door to a night club. No reception. This place should come off your list. The photos of the nook are very misleading at best. Unfortunately I booked a room with seaview, which was directly above a Cocktail bar, which eventually closed at 6o'clock in the morning. It was very noisy and loud and a fight broke out at one stage.I Didn't get any sleep that night .We checked out early to catch a ferry. So I could not register a complaint.

Guests are advised that they should expect noise in and outside of the premises during the night from the on-site cocktail bar and neighbouring nightclubs. Please inform the property of any groups so the rooms can be allocated together, subject to availability. Kindly note extra beds cannot be accommodated. Due to the style of the building, there is no lift. There are stairs leading to the bedrooms, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The only parking available is on-street pay and display, or local town centre car parks.
