This 17th-century former coaching inn is situated in the charming market town of Sedbergh. There is free private parking on site, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Rooms at The Bull Hotel are traditionally furnished, and come with a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. Each also has pretty views over the village or the surrounding rooftops. Breakfast is provided each morning, and includes full English or lighter, more healthy options. The Bull's restaurant serves light bites and hearty meals, made from local ingredients. Alternatively, there is a choice of restaurants within 5 minutes’ walk. The hotel is set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, a 25-minute drive from Kendal. Killington Reservoir is 5 miles away, and the M6 motorway is just over 10 minutes’ drive from the building.

Dog and Child friendly. Beautiful food in restaurant and for breakfast (bubble and squeek not hash brown with full English hurrah). We all were really at home here, very relaxed atmosphere. It has a traditional pub area lounge area and Italian restaurant (no dogs in there but they will serve food in the lounge so you can still eat from the restaurant). The supreme family room is luxurious (but no dogs in there). We all enjoyed it there and infact went back 2 weeks later for another enjoyable st.
όλα τα σχόλια » I love this kind of atmospheric hotel _ full of history and with a great ambience. It was in a very interesting area of Sedbergh and was very quiet and comfortable. My room had been recently and excellently refurbished. It was excellent value for money. Our double room was very pleasant, if a little compact. Bathroom good with excellent large shower. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good - well cooked and well presented. Staff were very polite and helpful. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Very accomodating staff who stayed behind to cook supper for us after the restaurant had closed. Large rooms, nice and clean, good value. friendly helpful staff room clean & seviced daily towels changed regularly good location, parking, & views from room dog friendly great rates for b & b. Fabulous Hotel, Fabulous Staff, Fabulous Rooms and Sensational Food. What a great place to say. We're already planning to stay again. I was allocated a family room by letsbookhotel.com which I didn't request. I didn't need such a big room and thought that it could be sold to a family instead. Neither of the 2 staff I asked at the hotel could do anything about it, despite the fact that the hotel was not full, saying once the room had been allocated there was no way of changing. The shower was a bit slow. Not enough toilet paper in the bath-room. Breakfast was ok but could improve. Room decoration had seen better days, not a real problem as the cost and the superb staff more than made up for any short-comings. TV didn't work. No wifi in room. Room pretty basic and old-fashioned, although that didn't bother me personally. Drinks at the bar were expensive. Food was expensive. Most local people seemed to favour the other two pubs in the village for socialising which meant that the bar lacked atmosphere since very few people frequented it. Bedrooms were a but dated and bathrooms could have been cleaner . Shower not well maintained. Tv reception poor. We were a group of 5 and no one had any complaints. No lift, no porter, might be a problem for elderly, but we only had weekend luggage. Access to car park - very tight turn - beware! Especially at night. Decor is tired. A refurb would make an "very good" pub hotel or restaurant with rooms. A patch of mould in the corridor on the way to the room. Car park to the rear of the hotel is very big however their is only a very narrow entrance off the narrow one way street care needed. There was some noise from the bar (to be expected) but in fairness it didn't stop us sleeping. too hot in room due to two windows out of three not opening- no fan to alleviate this despite previous bad reviews over same issue. We had to wait ages to be served at the bar. We thought the garden furniture could be improved but this was our only negative. Public areas a little bit cold. WIFI would not work properly. we wasnt given the code for the door when we got back late....thankfully we knew another person staying and asked them to let us in.... We were not charged the amount stated on your website. We were charged 86 instead of 60 pounds. car parking entrance appalling very narrow scraped car. fiat 500's only not recommended for my rolls royce. Decor was shabby on landing and in room. Door very shabby on outside. The service at the bar was a bit slow. I found the sofa and chair on the same floor as my room,Number 15,uncomfortable. I would like to have had a comfortable armchair in the vicinity to sit in. limited number of TV channels. bar snacks. Can't think of anything!. at end when paying women never said thankyou or asked if we enjoyed stay seamed strange. will be better when the decor is finished. Slow restaurant service. No chair in room so had to use bed as seating. Eating areas seemed unclear as did mix of menus - Italian/ local and bar/restaurant- wasn't explained fully. Again, probably management issue?. Top floor rooms hot in summer. The room was appalling. Refurbished rooms may be OK but the one we had was not. Damp patches on the walls, rotten window frames & sills and paper hanging off the walls. The TV would not work as there was no signal. Our room was not really fit to be let. Some of the staff were a bit offhand. The food portions for dinner were a bit mean at times. Standard of Room 4 decoration very poor for the money. Wallpaper coming away from wall in several places. Toilet window would not open. Couldn't get any heat in the bathroom. Background 'hum' on TV reception.
